The Old Inn

The Old Inn has become a regular spot for us. We love the mix of old and new. It has such a relaxed atmosphere and staff are excellent. The spa is very unique and we love that even with a full house, the spa never feels overly busy. We try to visit at least two/three times a year to unwind and look forward to our next trip.

The loveliest hotel to stay at, great food, great staff, Aoife and Sofie are brilliant. The spa was class, not to busy. I would definitely go back.

We had gone here for Father’s Day lunch and food and service was really good. The atmosphere is always nice and calm and everything was good. Drinks are always great. Started off with a Hugo spritz and that was unreal. All our food was 10/10

Just back from a two night stay with friends, one of who was celebrating their 50th birthday. This place is fantastic, I really feel the need to mention the staff first, they are sooooooo welcoming and friendly from the moment we stepped into reception, I don't think we have ever been to a hotel that had nicer staff, 10 out of 10. We only had one staff member, the barman near the pool, last night, he wouldn't take our order but my friend asked the waitress for her order and the waitress passed it on to him, they were all standing right next to each other, found him to be a little rude. That said, it doesn't bring down the 10 out of 10 for the staff as they were total amazing, thank you for making our stay so wonderful!!! The rooms are fantastic, so cosy and very clean. The spa is on another level and the cocktails are divine. Thank you to all the staff (the receptionists, all but 1 of the bar staff, the cleaning staff, who were so friendly, the girls serving at the pool, the servers in the restaurant, and everyone else that works at The Old Inn, pay rise for all the staff:) Oh nearly forgot to mention our dinner there. We weren't go to have dinner here based on a few of the reviews, so glad we did have dinner here, it was absolutely gorgeous! The flavours were out of this world, presentation was fantastic and again the serving staff were lovely. Shout out for the girls serving around the pool, so friendly and professional at the same time. Its a trip we will never forget. Thank you!!!

When we drove past I was a touch worried about the road side site but from the moment we walked it was a step into another world. Friendly staff greeted us and we checked into our junior suites which were incredible. Freestanding copper baths, huge rooms and an amazing bed. The spa is a world outside and you are instantly relaxed and calm. A night in the old inn is like 4 days in a regular hotel. It's just so secluded and cosy. Hot tubs and sauna and drinks on tap via qr code is a recipe for relaxation. The restaurant is amazing and with lovely walks around the hotel from right outside this is a wonderful night away for anyone looking to spend a little extra to get a lot more.

The best experience ever! My husband’s birthday and they very kindly upgraded us to the junior suite, the food, staff, treatments was outstanding! A hidden gem! We will definitely be back xx
