The Old Hall Hotel

Visited as two couples 03 September 2024. Small hotel with only 10 rooms, at present, but it is quite simply fabulous. The bedrooms are very well appointed with everything you need. Decor is modern and spotlessly clean. Had large walk in shower with toiletries provided. Secure private parking is available at no extra cost. As we were the only 4 people staying in the hotel that night, the restaurant wasn't open so the Chef was made available to prepare a limited menu. This consisted of a selection of Indian dishes which were exceptional and is some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. It was very impressive. Staff, especially Tas, were very friendly and service was first class. Would definitely stay again if in the area and would highly recommend. Could see it being the ideal venue for a wedding or private party. Exceptional!

I would gladly rate this venue six stars for my wedding experience if I could! Taz and Georgie were absolutely phenomenal as wedding hosts, going above and beyond to ensure that every detail was meticulously arranged. Taz's keen eye for detail shone through in every aspect of the setup, and despite having only a few meetings with her, the final result exceeded all of our expectations. She truly stands out as a remarkable wedding host, making the planning process feel seamless and enjoyable. Our wedding was an intimate gathering of just 25 guests, yet it felt incredibly special, and that was largely due to the efforts of Taz and Georgie. We spent the night dancing on their spectacular LED dance floor, which was complemented by top-notch speakers that filled the space with fantastic music. The food and drinks were plentiful and delicious, adding to the festive atmosphere. It was a night to remember, and we owe a huge thanks to our wonderful hosts for making it all possible. The accommodations provided for us and our guests were exceptional, easily ranking among the best I've experienced. As someone who travels frequently for work and has stayed in numerous hotels, I can confidently say that the quality of the rooms was comparable to that of the Munich Marriott Hotel City West, particularly in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and tranquillity. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue for weddings; it truly offers an unforgettable experience that you and your guests will cherish.

We had the privilege of working with Taz as our wedding coordinator, and she truly went above and beyond to make our special day everything we dreamed it would be. From our first meeting, Taz was incredibly friendly and straightforward, making the entire planning process feel smooth and manageable. Her patient demeanor was a godsend, especially as we changed our minds a few times—she never hesitated to adjust our plans to ensure everything was just right. Taz was relentless in her commitment to making sure we were happy with every detail. She consistently checked in with us, offering her expertise and doing everything in her power to bring our vision to life. On several occasions, she stayed on extra hours after her shift, just to talk things through with us and make sure we felt reassured. Her dedication was evident, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making our day perfect. The night before and even the morning of the wedding, Taz stepped in to handle last-minute details, allowing us to focus on enjoying the moment without any stress. Her presence was a calming force, and we knew we were in good hands. Our wedding was held at the Old Hall Hotel, and everything from the food to the venue was fantastic. Our guests loved the food and the VIP room provided an intimate and elegant setting for our civil ceremony. Later in the day, the marquee was the perfect space for our buffet and mini reception, offering a lively and spacious environment where everyone could relax and celebrate. None of this would have been possible without Taz's help, support, and guidance. We are incredibly grateful for all the time and effort she put in, both in the weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. Taz's hard work and dedication ensured that our wedding was a beautiful, seamless, and unforgettable experience. We can't thank her enough and would highly recommend her to anyone planning their big day!

Treated to Afternoon Tea on 26th July 2024 for a Birthday Treat and would highly reccommed. We chose the Traditional Afternoon Tea which is one of the best I have had . A fabulous selection of sandwiches and cakes , accompained with a spotless location and attentive and friendly staff .. A lovely experience

We were staying at the Old Hall to be near a family wedding and chose it on the strengths of the TripAdvisor reviews. You were not wrong! The welcome was excellent, the room was well decorated and presented with nice sheets and towels. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is owned and run by a family and you could tell, the guests were treated as valued guests from start to finish. We would like to go back to try the authentic Indian restaurant menu another time.

Beautiful boutique hotel, super friendly staff. I had a vegetable soup for lunch and it was absolutely delicious!! I was working here since I traveled from London and I was well looked after by all the staff. Thanks once again Old Hall team! I can’t wait to come back.

I purchased a couple of tickets to attend the Elvis tribute night. The event was held in the marquee and it was a fantastic evening. The staff were very friendly and the service was outstanding, The hotel is simply stunning! I highly recommend to anyone who is contemplating going to The Old Hall you will have a fabulous time.

Afternoon tea very disappointing.Sandwich heavy cake poor.One cake stand between four people.One hundred poundsworth for four people..could have done it myself for 30 pounds.Most sandwiches egg..use of processed meat and salad slung in middle seen better days.Spoke to manager who was very rude.She told us no one will be hungry after eating sandwiches wont want cake. Thays what you ordered.Other staff brilliant.We paid 30 pound for Prosecco 20 pound 2 cocktails .Managers attitude brought whole mood down for 60th celebration.Have had many afternoon teas in my time.This was very poor quality.

We had a surprise party here for my Dad's 60th - what a place. The venue & grounds itself are stunning, the staff are extremely helpful and attentitive, catering was fantastic - could not fault anything. I viewed quite a few venues before finally deciding on The Old Hall, and I definitely made the right decision. The feedback from guests has been amazing and we'll definitely be back for coffee!
