Chalet Svizzero Apartments

This hotel stay was the highlight of our three-week trip to the Italian Alps, and we stayed at some great places! The staff always had time to give us advice on where to hike and bike to, and the bikes they provided (free of charge) were full suspension and well-maintained mountain bikes. Our room faced the river, and with the doors to the balcony open all night, we were treated to a familiar sound (we live on a large creek) as we slept. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The family who owns the hotel made us feel welcome and at home, and were always available for a conversation. After a long hike or ride, the spa was wonderful, the outdoor tub and Turkish bath were something to look forward to. And the breakfast...so delicious and so much to choose from. Dinners on the deck listening to the river were fun and of highest quality. The bar was well-stocked and the bartender was charming, and generous with a snack plate that we looked forward to as we were finishing a strenuous day. But I'll say again, the family made us feel like we were very welcome, such beautiful people! Next year we will return to Courmayeur and stay longer than the five days we stayed at the Chalet Svitzzero this time. It's a rare find.

We stayed in this stunning hotel four nights. All the staff at reception were very friendly and also gave us valuable advice on walks and weather. Excellent food whether for breakfast or dinner. The hotel is excellently located, the spa is very nice, the bar also very nice with a very inviting terrace. When we return to Courmayeur we now know where to go.

We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived. Our family room, with a double bed and two twin beds was perfect. Breakfasts were great, and the staff were very friendly. The parking spaces were convenient and the location ideal. Would love to return.
