Let's us start form positives, new restaurant looks very wonderful, i loved pallets of colors, and lighting. Now let us go to experience, first of all waiting time before stuff get order was over 15 min, waiting time for food 30 min chips, salad and chowder* Stuff bring our food with a mistake two salads and chips, they bring us two salads and chips where we order chowder. After 30 min of waiting time we get information that kitchen have no ingredients for a chowder... where is communication between kitchen and restaurant ? Let us move to table, like i said i love color and lightning, but that will not cover dirty glasses or cattery, how a restaurant in 4 star hotel can give dirty cattery its fully disgusting, i lost whole appetite. We was forced to go to different restaurant after that awful experience

Absolutely filfthy. Surprisingly the food itself was great but had to ask to move table due to hardened sauce or gravy stuck to the wall beside us. List was never ending re cleanliness. I think this hotel get their custom due to beautiful location but if cleanliness is important to you then avoid at all costs. Shower base was so disgusting that when we showed a photo to receptionist she said oh no that’s disgusting no way would I stay there.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel for one night,the staff were the most welcoming friendly and helpful staff that I’ve ever come a cross,we had our lunch which was lovely and the dinner in the evening was fantastic couldn’t fault a thing and our waitress was so friendly and polite.Next morning we had a fabulous breakfast loads of choice and the cooked food was piping hot .Would definitely recommend this hotel and it was great value for money.

Our stay at the Ocean Sands Hotel was very disappointing from start to finish. Even before we could check in or see the room, they were quite happy to take full payment upfront—which felt frustrating in hindsight given the experience that followed. The room itself was around 34°C (93°F) with no air conditioning and only a small window that could be opened. It was so hot and stuffy that we had to keep the room door open just to bring the temperature down to 31°C, which was still unbearably uncomfortable. When we asked at reception about air conditioning, we were told the room had none but they could send up two fans. After an hour with nothing delivered, I had to go back down to reception, where they claimed they thought the fans had already been sent. Another hour passed and, after calling twice—once being hung up on—they finally brought up just one fan, which barely helped. Even then, the room only cooled to about 27°C, and we had to keep the fan running all night just to manage a bit of sleep. The restaurant was another disappointment: it took quite a while just to get seated, even though it wasn’t especially busy at the time. Overall, the customer service throughout the stay was extremely poor—slow to respond, dismissive, and at times rude. At check-out the next morning, we left a complaint, but the only response we got was that they would “have a look at it.” Overall, it was an uncomfortable and frustrating stay, and we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Safe to say we won’t be back.

When I checked in there was a vape left on the bed, young house keeper later came back to get the vape. The food was average. The staff were over worked and overall seemed unhappy to be there or to help. I witnessed management be extremely rude on several occasions to the staff. Would love to return in the future for a better experience.

After staying at the hotel multiple times and eating at the restaurant we decided to have it as our wedding Venue. The staff couldn't have been any better and the hotel worked with us to help sort accomodation for all our guests. The food and drink was as brilliant as ever and all the accomodation was brilliant. We are delighted we came across this venue and we'll be back as often as we can. Can't recommend it enough, whoever you just want lunch, a coffee, over night stay or wedding venue.
