Hotel Siroco - Adults Only 18

Los apartamentos serenity valen la pena. Muy nuevos y amplios. El desayuno podría mejorar, con algo de variedad saludable, todo era para público inglés. Y por mucho cartel que hubiera, a primera hora hamacas reservadas aunque no estuvieran en ellas en horas. Faltaría algo de supervisión en este sentido.

Stayed for 5 nights in December in a Premium 1 bed apartment in the Serenity Area on a B&B basis. Apartment was as expected. Well equipped kitchen area with a 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. You are also provided with washing up liquid, a dishcloth and tea towel which was good. The bathroom in our apartment could do with a refurb and the water was very slow to drain in both the shower and sink. Rooms are cleaned 3 times a week and in the Serenity Area this is a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We paid to hire the safe. We requested a ground floor room which we were allocated. Unfortunately our terrace was permanently in the shade, which was a shame considering it had sunbeds on it. Fortunately for us as it was December there were plenty of sunbeds available so when the sun made an appearance we just used a couple of beds round the pool. Shame the apartments don’t have air conditioning, but we knew they didn’t when we booked. You can hire fans but as it was December we managed without one. The buffet breakfast was fine with hot and cold options. They were extending the buffet restaurant when we were there. The staff were all very pleasant. The hotel is approximately a 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre of Costa Teguise with all the shops, restaurants and beach. There is a supermarket (Hyper Dino) about a 5 minute walk from the Hotel and another one (Spar) a bit further along. There is also a good sized supermarket in the hotel just across the street from the hotel and whilst slightly more expensive it’s worth it if you don’t want to carry your shopping back from the Hyper Dino or Spar. Disappointed not to be able to pay for a late check out but were told they were full. Even more disappointed that our room keys were deactivated before 12pm. My husband took some recycling to the bins at 11.50am and couldn’t get back in! Fortunately someone was going out so let him back in and he then knocked on the apartment door for me to let him back in to collect our belongings and check out. Overall we had a good stay and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

We have just come back from 3wks spent at the sirocco,we are returning guests and we stayed in the serenity area again which is great we was bed and breakfast this time which was really nice loads of choices you could pre book evening meal at reception if you wanted we did 3 times and it was good the serenity area is very quiet we like that we new what to expect because we stayed there before reading some reviews before hand about the pool it was not too cold people were in it every person to their own we have already booked for another 3wks next year also we found the reception staff friendly also all the staff friendly keep it up see you next year

This was a last minute choice for a three night stay for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Stayed in normal side in 216, as we were only using it for a base for walking and sightseeing, and apartment was clean and suited our requirements. Check in was nice and easy and it’s a nice walk of about 20mins to The Pueblo Marinero. Never used the restaurant as we ate out every night but checked the menu out and looked ok for €18 evening meal or €9 breakfast. Got a lovely complementary bottle of wine left in our room for my birthday and was sad to be leaving after our 3 nights Bit use the poolside bar in the evening and the frosted pint glasses for the beer was a nice touch. Lovely quiet location Supermarket 5 mins walk away Staff very friendly and helpful Super clean everywhere November was fine to keep bedroom window open for air but not sure I would have coped in summer without air con Beds very comfortable and best shower ever! Yes it’s pretty basic and tired here and there but functional and clean I did ask for more coat hangers and I suggest bringing a mug for your morning cuppa ( or it’s the usual small cup size and one of them doesn’t cut it for me in the morning!) Costa Teguise is awash with great restaurants- Mar Azul and Mi Piaci are close by as great options Taxi from bastian area to hotel €4 and you’ll see green lights on the plentiful taxis Jablillo beach is the best for snorkelling and lovely cove area for swimming so worth the 30 min walk to get there Took a bus one day €3 single to peurto del carmen and it went through Arrecife and a lot of people were heading to a shopping mall so an option for a rainy day! The journey to pdel carmen was about 50 mins and a very busy bus, we walked to the old town had lunch then the bus back was the “Vulcan stop” outside a souvenir shop … it’s a one way bus system so the bus going back isn’t just across the road but plenty of people to ask and a handy information point along the strip area too Costa Teguise is beautiful, laid back and my favourite place in the canaries so far :)

We were there last week, just had bed & breakfast Can't really fault this place, it looks lovely, no, we didn't stay in the serenity side as when we booked with easyJet we weren't given that option but theres not really that much different & to be quite honest your nearer to the restaurant/bar & reception in non-serenity. There is no air con,so be prepared we managed the first couple of days but it got hotter towards the end of the week & we should probably have hired one from reception. Staff are lovely, always a smile & hello Rooms are cleaned 3 times a week with fresh towels as well Rooms were lovely & clean Breakfast is good, it's a small section on offer but there's choices, only downside was some of the items could have been hotter, but this is a microwave. Pool was a lovely well maintained area , very relaxing, & always cleaned each morning & checked during the day. All in all we really enjoyed our break here, we have stayed in that area before a few times but had never noticed this one , but we would probably stay again sometime.
