Apartamentos Celeste

Honestly as a family of 5 the Celeste Apts were absolutely perfect for our needs. We knew that there was no air con when booking and some apts could do with a wee upgrade. Our 2 bed ground floor apt in block was perfect. From the moment we arrived, flight was delayed and clear instructions on how to retrieve our key were sent to us, as reception closes at 7.(emergency number is detailed on door if needed) The blocks are gated access do super safe. Apt was spotless, smelt fresh & clean. Microwave, 2 ring hob, fridge with oven box, kettle & toaster. As much bedding as needed and we asked for more pillows, no probs. Apt cleaned daily towels changed every 3 days or as needed. Beds really comfy comfy, and tho hot at night, a couple of open windows create a lovely cross breeze!! Couch bed used nightly with no complaints and fitful sleeps by a 13 year old. Pool area spotless walkways washed daily too. Ideally situated with reasonably priced spar shop one side (4 min walk) & Dino hyper market (3 min walk) on other side. Shops restaurants all within a short walk & beach easily accessible via steps or a 10 min walkto avoid steps. The stars of Celeste apts apart from Daki the sunglasses wearing doggo!! Are Pascal and Monika, the 2 fantastic receptionists. They are simply amazingly helpful, a fountain of knowledge, friendly and just fab. We only came home today and booking again for April.

Stayed here about 15 times and wouldnt stay anywhere else. Block 3 the best for adults only. spotlessly clean and cleaning ladies every other day. Beware some apartments are in full sun all day. 2 minutes from Pueblo Marinero and 3 minutes to the beach. Recepcion cannot do enough to help you. This is self-catering only (perfect for us) and each block is gated so very secure. Surrounded by restaurants and bars but you never hear any noise from them, this place is perfect! See you again next year!

Just home from the celeste apartments, while the location is good the accommodation in block 1 certainly is not, furnished very poorly, wardrobe door missing, water pressure hardly produces a trickle and the close proximity to other apartments give you no privacy, sunbeds are rare, all these things were complained about to reception staff and not a thing was done, icing on the cake was to be told no availability to keep our room or any other for a late check out, in a nutshell there are far better options on the lovely island of lanzarote, I would avoid the celeste
