Apartamentos Parque del Sol

I can't recommend this hotel because of food poisoning from the hotel restaurant. The hotel claims it wasn't food poisoning, but that's not true. We got food poisoning after eating their food. They also claim that I did not complain when I was there, but that is also not true. I allready gave feedback both in writing and verbally straight to hotel when I was there. I didn't get any response to the written feedback and the reception didn't listen to what I said, but denied the possibility of food poisoning. The symptoms were food poisoning and we also went to the doctor and got confirmation. Bugs and cockroaches run around the food, so I'm not surprised at the lack of hygiene.

Food poisoning, spoiled food served, cockroaches, dirty floors and unfriendly service. We got a picnic box from the hotel's restaurant, which had e.g. bread. We got food poisoning from the bread with a lot of salad in between. The restaurant also had poor hygiene. The Food receptacles wobbled among the food and cockroaches were running around the food and on the walls of the restaurant. The food was also completely tasteless. On the first night, they charged more for drinks than what was on the list. After that, you had to use the calculator to calculate that the bill matches the ordered drinks. The hotel, of course, denied the possibility of food poisoning and did not take responsibility. We got rude answers. It wasn't a virus for us, because our children didn't get any symptoms. Also my symptoms started after I had ate hotel food. Our chldren didn't eat hotel food. The children were in really close contact with us. The floors and sheets were constantly dirty in the hotel room. They were not cleaned properly. The pool area is ok, but I didn't really get to enjoy my vacation when I got food poisoning.

We visit every year, it’s a fabulous place. The apartment is lovely, the staff are helpful. Lovely pool, central location. Great for families, it’s quiet at night. Nightlife is just down the road with lots of bar’s & restaurants. Thank you Oscar & your team. See you next year.

It’s our last day as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids under 5) here at Parque Del Sol for a week. This is a little gem of a hotel. Having stayed in a AI 4 star in Lanzarote at the star of the summer, this hotel is miles ahead and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here. The staff are very friendly (Rafa on reception was really welcoming!). We stayed in a self catering apartment with bed and breakfast option. The apartment itself has all the amenities you would need and lots of supermarkets near by. Good sized fridge to keep the beer and wine nice and chilled! We had a pool view on the 3rd floor of block H which was really nice for sitting in the evening. The only reason I’ve not put it down as 5 stars is because the apartment doesn’t have air conditioning (something most hotels in Tenerife do have these days). The fans just circulate the hot air at night which makes it a little uncomfortable for sleeping. Our oven wasn’t working but we reported this to the reception and this was fixed in less than half an hour. The breakfast is good too - lots of choice and kept the kids happy too. A big plus is there are no dramas in the mornings getting a sunbed at the pool unlike some of the bigger hotels where it’s sunbed wars at dawn!! Great pool for the kids too and not too busy. There is some building work going on at the moment but it wasn’t overly annoying or anything. It’s quiet in the evening and no entertainment but there’s so many bars and great entertainment near by. If you are looking for some relaxing Tenerife sun we would definitely recommend staying here. We are already looking at coming back here next year! Thanks Parque Del Sol for a lovely holiday.

Best apartments in Costa Adeje by a country mile, great location & also very close to the beach & shops, lovely rooms & pool area, staff are fantastic & can’t do enough for you, i wouldn’t stay anywhere else as it’s perfect all round, get it booked.

Another wonderful stay at this hotel. We spent 3 weeks there including Xmas & the New year celebrations. The best part of this place is the staff. So friendly, efficient & hard-working. It would be unfair to praise particular members of the team, because they were all so good. Reception staff were so much fun as well as helpful. Dining room staff were just so smiley & welcoming despite their huge workload. Maids were excellent. Our maid kept the place spotlessly clean & (after the first night) realised that I was sleeping in the lounge on the sofa & made the bed up there every day. Great customer service! The food was very good. I never like going HB in Spain, because I find the food so bland, but I really can't complain. The only gripe I could have is that they appeared to throw away so much good food at the end of the meal! Free champagne & wine with our Christmas meal & New Year's dinner was a nice touch. Plus they even had a harpist entertain us! The pool is excellent & the jacuzzi was so good - just a shame we never went in there until we were nearing the end of our stay. Sunbeds were plentiful, even though the usual selfish ones placed towels over theirs well before they intended to use them. Oh to have the guts to throw them all into the pool!! Such a nice place to stay. Well situated & the apartments were more than just sufficient. We can't wait to go back. Thank you all at Parque del Sol.

We stay here every year for 14 nights and never had an issue. Our power went off,we went to reception to report and electrician more or less followed us back. Sorted. No problem.

Fantastic hotel, central location and great value for money. Nothing too much trouble and any issues dealt with immediately. Not that the issues were directly the fault of the hotel. Friendly staff, plenty of sun beds (none broken), lovely pool. Definitely will be returning, think we’ve found a gem here.

Had a wonderful time with my two daughters aged 7 and 9. All staff very friendly and helpful. I asked for a high floor overlooking pool and that’s exactly what I got. Being on my own I felt very safe here and the balcony is lovely and large. The pool is the highlight. Warm, interesting shape and well maintained. Very clean too. I was slightly concerned the food wasn’t going to be great (half board) as we have normally stayed in much larger 4-5 star resorts with more choice, however the food was delicious and we all found many things we enjoyed for both breakfast and dinner. Overall, I chose Parque del Sol as I didn’t want the gigantic large hotels that are all over the South of the Island. I wanted somewhere, small and friendly and a relaxing break and that’s what we had. Thank you to all the hard working staff.
