Pantanal Jungle Lodge

I spent 4 days/3 nights here in early August 2024 and it was a perfect base for my wildlife watching trips along the river. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The communal restaurant serving up delicious and filling local dishes and the bar have a nice feel with plenty of space and the area around the pool is a great place to relax with a drink and pore over the photos taken of the local flora and fauna. Whilst I had arranged my own guide with boat, the lodge runs its own programme of events for the groups that are staying all of which looked fun and well-organised, all based on the local wildlife and culture on the river or game drives on land. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful all of them wearing smiles even when the rain came! There's wildlife all around, I could have added otters on the river, caiman on the beach and coatis in the back yard....lovely spot, give it a try!

Had an amazing 4 days at the lodge! Super chill hostel vibes in the middle of the Pantanal. Our epic guide Rony Anaconda was awesome - he says he can’t make promises but we saw up close: a jaguar with two cubs (!!), iguana, caiman, giant otter, monkey, capybara, pig, tapir, deer, millions of birds, and heaps more. Trip was everything we wanted

Very friend staff. The guid spoke good English and explained everything to us. We saw many animals. Also good food and nice views. Good facilities (shower, toilet, comfortable beds etc) I learnt a lot about Pantanal. Defenitely recommend it.

It’s a lodge deep in the wetland, so do not expect luxury hotel kinda environment or amenities, but the staff is super welcoming and the tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and nice, my tour guide is Paolo, he helped us to track jaguar and lots of wild animals

While we can’t compare to other similar places in the southern Pantanal, we liked it here. The food and accommodation good, the location beautiful (on the banks of the river) but most importantly did we have a good guide with lots of knowledge of the nature and a willingness to share. The activities were very varied as well, which was nice. We saw a lot of animals, including hyacinth macaws, capybaras, otters, iguanas, deer, caimans and lots of colorful birds.

We spent 4 days in this great place: very good food, great pool, the rooms are very comfortable. The activities during these 4 days lived up to our expectations: we even saw a jaguar! Anaconda, the guide, was always ready to listen to us and gave us lots of explanations about the flora and fauna of the Pantanal.

Amazing spot by Miranda river. I saw 2 Jaguars and a lot of other species. The staff was great and the food was very good with a great variety of food. The best Pantanal adventure. They have many different activities for all ages. Very recommended.

Guide is great. The whole formula "all in" is great with superb food. The trips are nice. I give them 5 stars. Hot showers. Only a lot of muskeetos and jaguar had to find but thats not up to the lodge right ;-) ! A lot of animals like ara's capibara's kaaijmannen giant otters birds etc.
