Domaine Santa Giulia Palace

Me & my family (two adults, two kids) spent a week at Santa Giulia Palace in April 2024. They had just opened for the season - we may have been the very first guests. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were super-friendly throughout our stay. Our apartment was clean & well equipped, and in an absolutely beautiful setting, with sweeping views over the Santa Guilia bay (whose beaches were less than a 10 minute walk away). The kids insisted on swimming every day, and with the nearest pool about 30m from our terrace this was no problem. All in all we had a fantastic holiday, would definitely go back to Corsica, and highly recommend Santa Giulia Palace.

Nothing good to say about this place, except about the entire staff. But probably most of them wont be here soon, they are too much professional for this place. We didn't like the residence, that can happen but the exchange with the young lady manager was terrible. No charisma to manage a place like that maybe should do some internship before taking the following of mum... Unfortunetly à lot of place are like that in Corsica !

Location: a short walk to gorgeous Santa Giulia Beach, 20 minute drive to Porto Vecchio, 40 minutes to Bonifacio. In other words, you are close to everything- sea, mountains, airport, and urbanity. Lodging: clean, modern, convenient Staff: excellent, friendly, attentive Food: only breakfast is served. The coffee, croissants and baguettes are delicious. The menu doesn’t change, however, so it can get a little boring after a few days.

We had such high hopes for this hotel. It is located in such a beautiful part of the island. It has stunning views. And the room sizes are hard to compete with for a family of four . But that is the end of the positives for me. This is basically an apartment/hotel property, not a hotel. There is no housekeeping. There are no fresh towels, just the set provided upon check-in. There is a washing machine in the room and a dishwasher for you to do your own dishes. You have to buy your own soap & lotion. There is only a small breakfast buffet and no lunch or dinner. The grounds, especially the pools, are those of a three start hotel, functional but not hight end or stylish. None of the pools are heated. We had a water back-up issue in the shower. It was fixed the next day but none the less. I think there are better places to stay on the island for that price point.

This was a lovely self-catering option so close to the beach. My family (2 children 8 and 10) really enjoyed our stay. The apartments at the top of the resort were perfect and our sea view was fantastic. Pools were clean and not very crowded, and the evening pool bar was a nice treat at the end of the day. Apartments have everything you need to cook and do laundry and a grocery store is a 15 minute drive away. The walk down and up from the beach took us 15 minutes, and while uphill on the way back it wasn't too much for my kids to handle while carrying towels and inflatables. There are a lot of electric rental car options and there was a charging point in the parking lot near our apartment. Super easy and convenient. Apartments were cleaned once during our week stay, which didn't bother us at all - but might be an issue for those who want clean sheets every day. We'd love to come back!

Simply wonderful time staying here. The domaine is stunning and well maintained, with trees, maquis, rolling grass and rolling natural paths throughout. Our apartment at the top of the domaine had amazing views dropping over the Santa Giulia bay, and the entire feel was slow, peaceful and incredibly restful. There are three pools scattered across the domaine, a couple nearer the top and one near the foot. All were fantastic. Two were deeper and more spacious which worked well for families and fun, and the one at the top was smaller but beautiful and looked out over the sea. One has a small bar by the pool which is perfect for a quiet end of day beer. The apartment itself was in excellent condition. Spacious inside, good air conditioning, nice furniture - looked good, not super-high end but boutique. Worked really well for us. Outdoor space was great as well. Loungers, dining table etc. Lovely to sit out under the stars having a drink and looking over the bay. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use (saw someone complaining that there wasn't enough stuff in there and maybe if you're hosting a five course dinner party you might struggle, but if you want to make family dinners, there's everything you need). We also used the bread/ pastry service each morning which turned up on time and with good fresh pastries. Didn't try the buffet so don't know what that was like. Lastly the staff were wonderful. Charming, helpful and relaxed. Any downsides? A couple. The wifi wasn't great, serviceable vs. strong. I know that isn't the be all and end all for sure, but equally if you've got wifi hungry kids it's worth knowing. It bills itself as 3 - 5 mins from the beach. In reality, whilst some parts may be, from where we were it was more like 10 - 15 mins to the beach itself. Lovely walk down, but hilly on the way back up... fine for us, but worth knowing. Otherwise, loved it and would all happily return.

An incredible stunning place. Beautiful people working in it. They wait for your requests and they do the impossible (like a cake for a birthday asked the day before). You reach the beautiful santa giulia sand & water by foot. You can forget the car. The only problems we have were with credit card misteriously don't working well. But it happened somwhere else in the Ile de La Beaute. Normally worked everywhere. They will check .

Probably one of the worse places I have stayed in 10 years. We reported issues within 2 hours of arrival. No one came to see me or tried to address anything and we left after less than 2 days. The general manager avoided me until I emailed him direct and demanded he call me. He then claimed our claims were not true and told us because we had checked in were weren’t entitled to any refunds for the two nights we didn’t stay. They take all the money upfront so we had no leverage to claim or withhold money. We have four young children and it was so, so unclean and in no way a 4 star property as advertised. They showed no regard for our claims and now we will be taking legal action in an attempt to get our money back. I am also disappointed in ******* as I am a gold star member and Use you for all my business and travel. I would expect ******* to have a higher standard of governance around the quality of the facilities they are Promoting. We have travelled from the US to Corsica at great expense and leave very unhappy

We stayed for two weeks at Santa Giulia palace in in the “suite prestige vue mer” The location was perfect at walking distance of the beach and the domain itself is really beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It all started with the checkin which really contributed to a nice and relaxed start of the holiday. The apartment was newly redecorated with great taste, modern and equipped with all necessities. Especially in this period with high temperatures it was very comfortable to stay with all airconditioned rooms. The view from the apartment on the nature, sea and mountains was incredible. Every day cleaning service was great and cleaners did a great job every day. Morning breakfast service (bread / croissants) delivery is a good thing as well. The pools of the domain are clean and good size and were located close to our apartment. So to conclude we really had a great stay at Santa Giulia Palace and would surely recommend this for a great holiday.
