Barceló Corralejo Sands

Been here 3 times and would stay again. Love the jacuzzi suites with their own patio and sun loungers. Rooms are spotless. Safe should be free I have been to other hotels where it is free. Breakfast was good nice coffee. Very comfortable beds. WiFi a bit slow. Requested specific rooms and we given room in area we had asked for which was good. Great location. For all that corralejo has to offer but nice and quiet despite the road. We were not disturbed by road noise. Can check in before you arrive which speeds things up. Spa was lovely with massage at discount as we are Barceló members. Will definitely return again

Lovely hotel. Rooms spacious and clean. Plenty of room. Nice bathroom with brilliant rainfall shower. We were in first floor room as we requested. Pool area and pool really nice if a bit crowded. There was also no problem with reserving beds as is usual these days. Breakfast was really good and hot! Plenty of choice and all really good. Evening meal also good and hot. Not a great lot of choice especially veg but u could always make up a nice meal. Sweets delicious too. Evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss as the theatre was closed and they had to use pool bar. This would have been ok but weather spoiled it as it was windy and quite cool. This was our first time in Corralejo and would definitely visit this hotel again. It was central to town and beaches too.

This hotel is fantastic we stayed 22nd to 29th September B&B . Breakfast was served downstairs fantastic choice plenty of sunbeds beach only 5 to 10 minutes walk with bars and restaurants all within the same distance. Rooms were cleaned every day staff were excellent from check in to checking out

Lovely adult only hotel in Corralejo. Rooms and facilities are good. Comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms. Staff are lovely and kind and always very helpful. The food in both the main restaurant and pool side bar is really good. Restaurants are spotless and despite self service they are calm and offer a good variety of freshly cooked food. Lots of food cooked in front of you and different choices every night. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel just five mins walk from the beach.

Had a weeks stay here. Lovely hotel, staff very friendly. Room was lovely didn’t expect the jacuzzi so that was a lovely surprise. My worry was if the hotel is disabled friendly. Had no concerns at all my son got around everywhere and there was a lift to to the room we were on the second floor. On the website it says two bars but only one was for all inclusive that was only our negative comment there only being one bar and no self serve (of a night) for all inclusive. Of a night it was table service and you did wait quite a while for a drink. No problem getting a sunbed either and the pool was a good depth. All in all a fabulous holiday would definitely recommend. Very central location a very busy strip but just to help wheelchair users if you don’t go all inclusive very hard to get in to most of the bars as they have steps. Big shout out to all the bar staff and waiters they work really hard especially Mario, Alexis and Michael

Having spent two weeks at this hotel in August 2024. Absolutely brilliant hotel. From arrival to departure this was all myself and my family could wish for. Having spent holidays at different locations and hotels in the past, this was up there with the best. We have just had two weeks all inclusive here. Staff were brilliant especially Michael and Raul at the pool bar. The hotel was clean and well run. Room was excellent, spacious, no broken furniture and was serviced daily. Location superb. Only 50 yards off the main run into Town and a 5 minute walk to the Beach. 50 minutes transfer from the Airport.

First visit to this hotel and we loved it. We opted for the deluxe room with whirlpool which is on street view however it’s high up and people passing can’t see you. It’s a great area where you have your own sunbeds and terrace but still pretty sociable as neighbouring terraces blend in to the one big row. Our room was set back more from the others and sun stayed there until around 7pm. Rooms 1213 - 1233 are the best. We didn’t need to go to the pool to sit but any time we walked past there were usually plenty of sunbeds to be had. The pool does not open until 9am and reserving beds is not allowed. That may change the busier the hotel gets. The room we were in was spacious, tidy and had a kettle and small fridge to keep water cool. The fridge could have been colder though. Aircon great, low, medium and high settings. Comfortable and big beds. We had robes and slipper, hand soap, hand cream, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner all supplied. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels replenished as and when you want them. Cleaners work extremely hard getting through all the rooms daily. Large full length mirror, plenty of plug sockets and USB too. Sunbed towels are also provided and are in room upon arrival. Tv in rooms have some channels for every language and lets you catch up on the news if you want to. Wi-Fi is available and is free. We were half board and couldn’t fault the food at all, there is something for everyone. Only thing I would have liked is some back bacon at breakfast, it’s available at the pool bar so they do have it. Mugs instead of the little cups would be better too. Half board and still pay for drinks, we gave our room number and made sure we cleared our bill daily however we found drinks on our bill that we did not order and upon investigation it was not my signature on the slip. Staff were nice about it but I did feel a little bit off about it all. I tried the wellness centre and had a massage which was ok, more of a rub than a massage. The poolside bar is lovely, food portions are huge and service great right up to our last day when they seemed short staffed so not as on the ball. Main restaurant was the same. The gastro bar is also a lovely chill out place which does food with a discount if staying in hotel. The staff make this hotel what it is, from reception to pool bar, to restaurant to cleaning staff, they are all hard working and friendly people. If I was coming back to the island I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The only thing I would say is there were some marks on tiles at side of toilet, tap in sink needs a thorough clean, bottom of door needs a repaint and the green around the whirlpool bath needs cleaned. Possibly too many rooms allocated to the one person for cleaning. Maybe a small step at whirlpool bath could be supplied to help less able people in and out too. Fabulous hotel though and would thoroughly recommend it.

On arrival at about 1:30 we told our room wasn’t ready . Fair enough check in is at 2pm so we went off for 90 mins and returned At 3 we’re told the room still wasn’t ready . By now we were tired after a 6am flight . The receptionist had said go for a drink I will call . He didn’t !! Eventually we got into the room the first few nights were great . Then for some reason they brought the entertainment to a bar right outside our room . Not even good to be honest either . We had chosen this hotel as we were told it was quiet. The food is samey every day the same stuff tasteless as we had decided to do half-board this time . I’m actually still out of pocket as we went out for dinner 4 nights out of the 7 . Won’t be returning. I also witnessed the life guard stopping people playing ball games in the pool . There are no signs to say this is prohibited and when the daytime entertainment team encourage ball games it seems a.bit odd xx

Having just returned from this hotel, we can say that it is in a great location, has spotless rooms, is well-maintained, and is very clean. The bedding and towels are of good quality towels and are changed on request. Tea coffee etc replenished daily shower gel and shampoo provided there is a fridge should you wish to buy fresh milk. The restaurant is clean and tidy, the breakfast was the usual meats, cheeses and with a good choice of a full English. There is a selection of sliced bread, rolls, and loaves of bread The evening meal was a selection of different types of food I found the combinations a little strange but the quality and variety were good just some, not my preference of combinations. The soups were very strange varieties again not my preference or taste. Having said this they were catering to different nationalities All the restaurant staff were friendly and very efficient. The pools and sunbeds are yet again clean with poolside towels provided and changed when you want by exchanging them with the poolside lifeguard One good policy was that the pool was closed until 9.00 am so no towels out from 06.00 am and a good touch was that some loungers had a disabled label on them reserving them for the disabled guests. Reception on arrival we were lucky as check-in was 2 pm but the very nice friendly Ruben informed us our room was ready he checked us in and gave us all the meal times and other information we found useful When speaking with others on reception we found all the receptionist to be helpful and friendly what a change from other hotel responses when dealing with reception these hotel standards and staff made for a great holiday. Would certainly use it again and recommend it to others.
