Barceló Corralejo Sands

It's very welcoming as a solo traveller. It's very clean, food is lovely and the staff are wonderful. Entertainment is aimed more for families. I booked 2 weeks before I flew out. I wasn't disappointed at all. I'd come back!

We decided to return this year after visiting in 2024. The location is excellent within a short walk of the Las Palmeras shopping centre, five minutes to the closest beach and fifteen/twenty minutes from music square and the old town area. A warm welcome awaited us on arrival at reception, check in was quickly completed and our prior request for a quiet, non ground floor was granted. Our room was perfect in every way with plenty of space and a wonderful, comfortable king size bed. Toiletries were provided as were dental kits, towels and pool towels. The large rain shower with additional showerhead was very satisfactory. A safe was provided in the room at an additional cost. We stayed on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner). The breakfast buffet was plentiful with hot and cold choices. I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared fruit salad. A different themed evening dinner was provided each night of our weeks stay. Again there was plenty to choose from and I would find it difficult to make a negative comment as the food was delicious ,constantly checked and refilled when required. Any drinks or lunches were put onto your room bill, payable on checking out. The pool area and gardens were constantly being cleaned and tidied, the whole area was immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit and hope to return next year.. A definite recommendation!

Second time staying at this hotel and the service it still great, clean welcoming, helpful and polite. Rooms are clean, bed are comfortable, plenty of towels and pillows. Daily room service if you want if not put the sign on your door. Great choice of food, something for everyone and all kept at a good temperature, plenty of different wines etc available. Breakfast full English, fruit, cereals everything you could ask for. Tea coffee, juices, milk, hot chocolate plenty of drinks available. Great location just off the main street to the bars, restaurants and shops and the beach is just acouple of minutes walk away. Would definitely stay again.

Fab hotel in a great location. The hotel has a lovely pool area, great selection of food at the buffet for both breakfast and dinner and the staff are fantastic. The rooms were great, always super clean and well maintained - couldn’t ask for more. They were very spacious, nice sized bathroom with complimentary toiletries, toothbrush etc, and there was water in the fridge on arrival. All the staff were wonderful, especially the activities staff - we loved the quizzes etc round the pool and went to bingo and family quiz in the evening - not something we’d usually do but it was good fun and we enjoyed our prize of a free cocktail each! The food at the buffet was really good, it did get a little repetitive on some of the hot dinners but there was a different theme every night and the salad dishes were nice and varied and really fresh. The hotel is just a minutes walk from lots of shops, bars and the beach, you couldn’t ask for more! There’s a number of supermarkets nearby if you need snacks, water etc. For the price you pay couldn’t ask more of this hotel.

Just returned from a fabulous 7 night stay, got to say the reviews on here do it justice, the staff, the rooms and restaurants were all excellent, we went half board because we don’t cane the drinks on holiday so paid for drinks as we went, the drinks are very competitively priced too. Great location too Room We were in room 2210 first floor, large rooms with separate room with large screen tv if you want that sort of thing, we only used for radio, another tv in the bedroom, nice touches were the kettle, mugs (not little cups) coffee and tea replenished daily, two bottles of water in the fridge again replenished daily. Beds were very comfortable with a choice of 3 pillows, didn’t need the A/C on as temperature dropped after 17.30, the room stayed at 21deg every night. The bathroom was bright with modern fixtures, inc walk in shower, magnified mirror and decent hairdryer, nice touch was on the glass shower partition, there is a link to a 4 min shower song chosen at random to play on an app on your phone, towels were changed on request and are large and fluffy ( not exfoliating). Balcony was a decent size with table and chairs. Restaurant Breakfast was as you expect for a 4* plenty of choice of everything, “English” sausages and beans, plenty of fresh fruit and yogurts etc, egg station is worth a visit, staff were attentive and chatty which is always nice. Evening meals were themed most nights and the meat was varied, freshly cooked and plentiful. Same price for drinks as the bars too. Pool We didn’t use the main pool as it was quite busy from opening at 9am, with people knowing where the best positions are for all day sun. Personally I don’t like piped music either, so we opted for a couple of very comfortable sun beds behind the pirate ship/slide at the back of the kiddies pool, mostly people like ourselves wanting a bit of peace and quiet as there were not many children staying here. Location About 50 metres off the Main Street through the resort, not too close to any pubs or clubs, very quiet at night. All in all a very well kept and clean hotel, with fabulous staff only to willing to help no matter what the problems were, would definitely stay here again but would go B&B next time and use the local restaurants just to do something different. Well done to the management and hard working staff for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

A beautiful hotel in a great central location. We stayed in a suite and it's one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Plenty of room for 3 of us, with a separate room area for our teenager. The beds were so comfy and ours was massive! Nice balcony but only 2 chairs. Beautiful bathroom with a great shower. We were freezing on the first night, certainly didn't need the air-conditioning and our daughter used the extra duvet provided. We kept the air-conditioning off for the remainder of our stay. The evening meal in my opinion was disappointingly but my partner loved it. There is a difference country/region theme each night but it was difficult to tell what it was. Maybe a sign would help. Not enough beige food options for fussy eaters, just pizza and pasta every night so my daughter didn't enjoy the food. Sadly 2 of us had a 24 hour stomachs bug whilst we were here. We visited the Spa twice for the thermal circuit, what a fabulous experience. £14 each for 90 minutes sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool, jacuzzi etc. Highly recommended and the ladies who work there are fabulous. The hotel states that beds by the pool can't be reserved and that items will be removed if they are not used, but this is not the case. Beds were unattended for hours so this made it difficult to get a bed and they were generally reserved by 9.10 am particularly towards the end of our stay when more families were arriving. Both pools are lovely, abs I am sure the little ones enjoyed the children's pool! The activities team were fabulous as were the waiting staff and cleaners. We would visit again but probably only bed and breakfast as there are so many lovely places to eat.
