Alua Suites Fuerteventura - All Inclusive

Very clean, extremely friendly, food was great and a great variety. Everyone said hello and conversed daily We stayed 7 nights and will be returning next year. Entertainment most nights was good Welcome drinks left in fridge and wine on the table

We are on our last day and can honestly say this hotel is fabulous. From our first day we have both enjoyed everything about it. 5* for cleanliness everywhere. 5* for the food and if people complain they have the problem as the food is lovely and plentiful. 5* for the amazing animation team who work so hard to entertain guests throughout the day. We received a call from reception on our first day asking if everything was ok which was a nice touch and were given a nice welcome letter. No fighting for sun loungers. There is nothing we can fault at all about this hotel and it's lovely staff. A special mention for the waiter Frances who was so funny and a pleasure to be served by. Your whole team are amazing and friendly at all times. We will definitely return. Thankyou so much for a great week with great memories.

Lovely grounds, very impressed by the condition of the pool areas and it's lovely and green. Overall the fuss has been excellent, the odd warm dish but very tasty and well prepared with a good variety. We didn't bother with the a la carte, buffet was great. Staff all excellent, serve your drinks quickly. The odd tip helps. My only gripe is the basketball court in the middle of the pools meaning you have to listen to loud bouncy balls all day. But if you want quiet upgrade. Easy walk for the able bodied into town along the beach. Get to sunset lounge for 430pm for the live bands. Would return.

This was our first stay at this hotel, we booked a suite in the My Favourite Club direct with hotel.The first room we were given was lovely inside but it was in the furthest away corner from reception etc and the grounds around it weren't kept too well and it was quite dark going down small paths to get to it. So eventually next day at 4pm we got moved,paid €25 extra for cleaning, got to the room and it hadn't been cleaned at all. Went back to reception spoke to a lovely receptionist named Louisa and she sorted us out with a lovely suite with balcony overlooking the my favourite Club area and she refunded the €25 to us. Louisa was lovely,helpful and friendly as were all the staff apart from that first receptionist but there's always one! We mostly ate at the main restaurant as there was more choice,the food wasn't the best,but we didn't go hungry. The drinks were good,cava was lovely. The hotel and rooms were kept very clean and the housekeeping staff very hard working,some of the grounds need to be kept better though. The entertainment was good a couple of nights but otherwise not great. Its not too far to go into town or go across to the beach bar just across the road. The walk to beach and into town during day was lovely and we enjoyed the market too. Overall we enjoyed our week here,we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the My Favourite Club as we usually stay in adult only hotels. We would stay here again if we got a good deal.

We booked late, which can be a bit of a gamble, but were pleasantly surprised by what was on offer. Positives: Lovely, spacious and airy rooms Incredibly comfortable bed Very clean and well-maintained Great landscaping Generally, very and friendly helpful staff Plenty of pools in segregated areas that cater for all ages Not quite so good: Food was OK but no more than that. The queues were very long on occasions. The main pool was a bit cold which may have been related to the time of year, as may the quality of the entertainment. Not centrally placed, but the centre of Corralejo is only 20 mins walk away. There's a shopping centre 10 minutes away. We would definitely go back!

The complex was clean and tidy and well located for beaches and towns. There were 3 of us staying in a room with balcony overlooking the pool. The room was clean with ample storage, the beds were very firm and it took a good few nights to adjust to them, the balcony was small with a table and 2 chairs so we could not all sit out on it at the same time. This is my first all inclusive holiday so I have nothing to compare it to but here are my thoughts. The food was good on the most part, the selection was large so there was always something to eat. The produce was low to mid range and definitely below what we would eat at home but I guess that is to be expected. The drinks are all served in small glasses this means that you are constantly refilling soft drinks or the alcohol/mixer ratio on other drinks were not that pleasant. The complex has a lot of pools and I think it is suited to people who want to spend all day on a lounger by the pool as there is not much else going on really. The bars I felt really lacked any atmosphere/vibe so we often left the complex. The Sunset Beach Bar is just over the road and has live music most nights 5 to 7 pm and then a DJ after that, they also serve fantastic cocktails! The cleaning staff were very good, the bar staff were ok, a few times we asked for a branded spirit (smirnoff) and were then served the local stuff which has a really unique after taste 😬 The entertainment did not start until 9.30pm and was a mix of acts they had brought in and the in house staff. It was not really my type of thing but the staff did try their best. Value for money wise I think you would need to spend all your time in the complex, eating /drinking etc for it to come out in your favor. We however got bored with the pools during the day and the lack of atmosphere in the evening so ended up spending a lot of time outwith the complex. However as I said this is our first all inclusive so maybe it's just not the right type of holiday for us.

As the title says, the place if gorgeous. The rooms are lovely. We upgraded to my favourite club. We expected more. As an upgraded customer to be told the premium drinks package was an extra 20 euros a day and not included in this cost we were very shocked. We're not huge drinkers but when abroad we enjoy a beer and some cocktails. The beer is claimed to be san Miguel. It's not premium that's for sure. And the cocktails are made from a machine with minimal effort and take horrendous. You don't get the holiday experience of a bar tender creating the cocktail for you using traditional methods. A machine dumps it into a glass and we were lucky to finish half a glass of each one we tried.

Had a lovely stay here. We upgraded to the adults only section and it was worth it. Everything was lovely. Only 2 little ******* 1. WiFi was pretty rubbish but we were in a room a long way from reception and it probably did us good to stay off our phones. 2. If you want a quiet stay in the MFC which is supposed to be in the quiet relax zone I suggest if offered rooms 6113-6122 or 6213-6222 you refuse them. The Sunset Lounge bar across the main road strikes up every evening at 5pm ( except Mondays) and plays really loud music. Most evenings it isn't too late, apart from Sunday which is party night. Other rooms in this area further into the gardens would be fine.

The hotel is aesthetically beautiful- really lovely surroundings and room is very nice as well. We had a lovely welcome bottle of Prosecco in the room and were given sandwiches, fruit and biscuits when we arrived as it was late (about 11pm). There was also a welcome bottle of water in the room. These were nice touches. However the pools are too cold, this put us off using them which is a pity as the kids lived in the pool last year. They also close too early, the weather was cool and cloudy in the mornings and warmed up late afternoon and evening and people still wanted to use the pools after 6 when they were closed. The pool bars also closed too early. The food was average. Food was at times cold, could have more variety and be more tasty. No issues with the variety of drinks nor availability- cocktails were fine and as expected in an all inclusive. Would have been nice if it included iced coffee. The onsite shop and supermarket that were next to the hotel were also very good and we got snacks (crisps, iced creams and sweets) to top up the all inclusive. Ice cream wasn’t available enough for the kids and there wasn’t much choice so we did pay for extras in the shop. Housekeeping do make the beds and do a little clean each day. However there wasn’t much attention to detail - Bed sheets weren’t changed when obviously dirty and we had to go to reception to request clean bedding. You only get one bottle of water when you arrive in the room, the tap water tastes awful on the island so you need to either refill in the dining area or buy more. It would have been nice if the fridges were stocked with drinks throughout your stay as it is in other hotels we have stayed in. The beach close by was beautiful and it was a short walk to town where there is a lovely sandy beach, bars and shops. We would recommend Isla Lobos trip, that was a fantastic day out. Also take a jacket for the evening as it gets very cool.
