Appalachian Chalets & RV

We really enjoy our stay , it was very quiet at the campground. The weather was beautiful. The staff was awesome. I would recommend this place to everyone. We have stayed here twice and we will go back

Very clean,roomy and beautiful view and reasonably priced, stayed here three times now and have never been disappointed. Close to downtown Corner Brook. Beautiful restaurant with great food. Laundry facilities included. You won’t be disappointed.

Very clean, spacious and well appointed chalets. Excellent location and staff on site were extremely helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Tons of parking for trucks and trailers. We snowmobiled right from the chalet. Will definitely return for an ATV trip in the near future.

The 2 bedroom chalet was spotless and well appointed. The location was perfect for staging a sled trip to Lewis Hills, back of Marble Mtn, or any of the western side of Corner Brook Trail System. No trailering necessary from the chalet. Leave right from the door. The Western Snow Riders certainly do a great job grooming the trails… even this time of year. As a bonus, Rugged Edge is just down the street where we rented a sled. You can ride right from there to the chalet. We will return and do it again. Another bonus… Blomidon nordic ski club is also in the same area. We had a beautiful morning cross country skiing. Their trail system is world class.

Staff goes above and beyond. Friendly people. Definitely not a party park. 50 Amp sites are a little narrow on the parking pad but do-able. Grass side is a bit soft, but probably because they recently planted new grass. Great views as well. A hidden gem

This campground, while seconds from the city, is super quiet! The staff at the main office and restaurant (Wayward Spruce) are the friendliest bunch! My husband, pup and I, meant to only stay for one night in between moving houses and ended up here for 7 nights( they also have a discount for a week stay)! The campsite itself is pretty small and not alot going on here but like I said the city is seconds away where you can find the hustle and bustle, if you want. There are some swings and a little play area for kids up by the chalets. Lots are full service and they offer free wifi! There are some drive thru sites for those not keen on backing the camper in. The food at the Wayward Spruce down by the main office is amazing!!! Best meal we had in town! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service!!! They also have some chalets on site which look amazing and are pet friendly. Overall super cute spot, super close to the city for easy access!!! Perfect place to stay when visiting Corner Brook!

The house is really cute , very clean , has most of what you need , a few more towels and toilet paper would be nice . Suggestion supply a tablecloth or placemats . We never saw any personnel except for when we went to eat at the restaurant which was very good . We were kinda surprised of the location being in an industrial area. It was alittle difficult to find and see the number of the chalet when arriving in the evening . We would stay here again when and if we return to corner brook .

This was our third visit to Corner Brook where we stayed at the chalets. The chalets offer you a place to stay that is as comfortable as being home. We were able to spend time visiting with family and then come home at night for a good rest. Very clean and roomy. It’s nice to actually have a chair to sit on verses the side of the bed if you are at a hotel. Being able to prepare your own meals in the kitchen is a great bonus. I would like to see a bit more silverware and dish ware in the cabins as there is not quite enough if you are looking to have guests in for a meal. My only other suggestion would be for the driveway / parking areas be maintained better to reduce the many pot holes and ruts you must try to avoid. That being said it won’t keep me from booking again as I find the chalets a great place to stay. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to a return visit to Corner Brook and once again staying at the Appalachian Chalets.

The Appalachian Chalet we stayed in was beyond our expectations. It was super clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. It had modern appliances, cork flooring, and a mini split. Our chalet had the convenience of a huge walk-in shower with a seat to accommodate all needs. The owners are super friendly and they were quick to respond to our few requests. Unfortunately, we never had the opportunity to eat at The Wayward Spruce restaurant on site but I hear that their fish chowder is great. A beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend these chalets.
