Fairfield Inn & Suites Cordele

Fairfield Inns used to be top notch. This one was okay but had an odor in our room and the fridge was loud. I chose not to stay and will be requesting a refund.

We drove eight hours and got there at 4.00pm. Luckily I had a copy of my reservation which I made through *******. The Desk clerk could NOT pull up our reservation. There were 4 guest on the line, she checked them into the room according to the reservation on their phone. Well, the next step was to call *******, she was not able to get at least 2 people to help. She called back to ******* for Wayne to speak with the representative, he was DISCONNECTED two times. The clerk called back from the Hotel and had two different customer service, sadly after 6 different calls, we were still standing in the Lobby of the Marriott. WE WERE IN THE LOBBY FOR ALMOST TWO HOURS, until finally, the clerk was able to pull up a previous reservation and checked us in 6.00 pm. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Your customer service DID NOT UNDERSTAND that the Marriott needed ******* to send over the reservation to the Marriott. Someone told her to check us in as a walk-in. This would make us pay the higher price and I HAD A CONFIRMED RESERVATION WHICH WAS PAID.

The front desk person was excellent, Theresa Hunt was very helpful and attentive!

No Heated Pool like I was told I was told before booking the room that there was a heated pool, the only reason for booking. When I got there, No heated pool and they said it was heated. My granddaughter froze in the water!!

Very clean property. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

I am a REPEAT customer! I stayed there Thanksgiving week and I loved it so much, I stayed again. The room temperature and bed were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. The microwave clock was easy to set so I could keep track of the time. The refrigerator kept my drinks cold. The Wi-Fi came right on and it was easy to control the temperature of the shower water. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to all of Cordele's visitors - and for that matter, all of Ashburn's and Perry's!
