Stayed here two nights with the family while visiting University of Iowa. I have stayed at hundreds of Hilton properties and can say that this hotel had one of the better breakfasts I’ve seen. Beyond the normal fare, there was some unique offerings I haven’t seen - chia seed pudding and carnitas breakfast tacos! Excellent service as well. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

This location was by far one of our best hotel nights on our trip headed up to Minnesota. The hotel is located in an area where it is situated amongst a mixed living community. Hospital, stores, shopping, eating, apartments, hiking, breweries and more. Finding the hotel was easy, the not so easy was finding the parking. Once we checked in getting directions to the parking location was a little difficult. Based on reviews I had read prior, I knew that it was behind the hotel. What would be helpful is perhaps a map of the area and the parking. After a few missed turns we are able to determine the proper spot for parking. This because our initial parking was further down the block than where we checked in. The check in process was easy, other than the vague parking directions. Our room was clean and bright, overlooking the parking lot. The bed was comfortable with various pillow options to choose from. The comforter was the perfect lightness to keep us warm but not heavy. Breakfast was pleasant a nice variety and tasty options for breakfast. A large area to eat, visit, and sit was available in this area. Based on our experience with Homestead Suites, I've been making a point to stay at other Hilton branded locations on the rest of our trip. For us it was an A+ experience all around.

Everything would have been great in our 4th floor room, if beds had not needed replacing years ago. Very soft, no support. Though each of us had our own queen bed, slept 3-4 hours max, backs ached all night. Won't stay here again unless new beds.

Loved this place. Stayed here for three nights while attending events at the Xtream Arena down the street. Parked the car at check-in, and never touched it again til we checked out. Less than a 5 minute walk to arena. Had a 1 bedroom suite w/ 2 queen beds in it. Pretty roomy for the two of us. At less than $175/night, it was good value w/ free breakfast, and parking was only $5/night. Everything in the room worked. Staff were all nice. Area around hotel has several places to eat/drink, although some closed rather early.. i.e., the pizza/bar across the street closing at 9pm on a thursday night.

This Homewood Suites was in a great location. It's about a mile to U of Iowa and there were many nearby restaurants. There were also nice shops surrounding the hotel. We had a king/suite. It was roomy

I so dearly appreciated each and every staff member for their caring to make my stay perfect. The hotel is so good I worry that the next time I want to stay it will be fully occupied, a grand place, a grand location, and the BEST staff anywhere.

Come due to a doctors appointment for my son several hours away from home. Definitely family recommended hotel and full kitchen if you don’t want to eat out every meal and want to microwave or cook meals while you stay. Nice quiet hotel. Good shopping center and food places near by within walking distance.

Management and staff is very curt, cold, and uncaring. No one smiles. They just shake their head, and roll their eyes at you. They don’t explain the pet policy. We didn’t even stay one night as they were so rude.
