Perfect location for solo tourists, 1 minute walk to the bar street, capsule space was really quiet, I slept well with my jet lag.

Worst hostel I have ever been to!!! Stay away!!!! The pictures are nothing like the reality Would rather sleep in the street.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Nyhavn 63 Capsule Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. Let me tell you why you should avoid this place like the plague. First off, I made my booking through their website, but I never received a confirmation email. Luckily, I took a screenshot of my payment because that was the only proof I had. Since I didn’t get a confirmation, I tried reaching out to them through their “Contact Us” form on their website. Guess what? No response. I sent several emails, tried calling them multiple times—no answer. I even reached out on Instagram and Facebook, and still, no fuc"""g response. (See attached screenshots for proof.) When I arrived in Copenhagen in the evening, I had no choice but to book another place on my way there. And to top it all off, they refused to refund my money. This hotel is full of sh!# and utterly unprofessional. I wish I had read the terrible reviews of other people before booking. They seem to be running a scam. So, here's a piece of advice for anyone considering this place: they are full of sh!#, and you should book someplace else if you want a peaceful and hassle-free stay. Don't let them ruin your trip like they did mine. Screenshots attached.

Avoid at all costs, My luggage got stolen from the hotel on my 1st night and they claimed that the surveillance cameras are not working!!!. They even didn’t care to call the police to investigate or check the outdoor cameras. All the stuff are amateurs with no experience at all.

Great place, exceeding expectations. My first time in a capsule, so was a bit concerned of noise, which “neighbors” to expect and how clean the facilities would be. The capsule itself was really good. Clean linnen, spacious for one person, wifi, USB’s for cables. Bathroom and toilets were kept clean (cleaned 3 or 4 times a day). All my neighbors were quiet and was mostly young back packers. Two downsides; - a minor one: the touch panel for accessing the capsule was a bit hard to use since it didn’t always catch the numbers I put in - a larger one: In case of a fire, it would be diffucult to escape. Fire extinguishers were present, but only escape route seems to be the main staircase. Apperently no windows besides the one in the bathroom.

Great value for the money. Courteous and friendly staff; warm and welcoming atmosphere. Good location. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Would definitely recommend to fellow travelers.

I loved it! It was price worthy, they have breakfast for those that want, and it is super nice accomodation as well as option to a city full of tourists with all hotel rooms prebooked to maximum. Gotta recommend it!

We had a great stay. The shower fascilities were not fantastic, but all i all this hostel is great value for money.

I've stayed in a capsule room and it was way more comfortable than I expected. It gives you privacy and quiet that you cannot find in every hostel. It was wide enough to feel relaxed and it has nice led lights, charging slots and even a mirror. Staff was so nice that I felt like neighbors.

In the grip of a full blown midlife crisis I was hell bent on staying in a sleep pod/ capsule on my solo trip to Copenhagen. I vacated my marginally cheaper modern plush lodgings and moved across to what was to be my personal purgatory for a night. At £56 with shared toilet bathroom / facilities and no breakfast it was spectacularly poor value but I had my heart set on sleeping in one of these capsules. As a Japanese concept these maybe work great but other nationalities aren't always as respectful and sure enough I could hear the 'activities' and slavic chit chat from the neighbouring capsule well into the morning. Possibly the most disconcerting aspect was that the door to my claustrohobic upper tier steel cell locked via an electronic button. This left me wondering about the arrangements in the event of a power cut? The hostel was otherwise quite grubby, fusty and in the process of being renovated although it does occupy an impressive old building right in the middle of the tourist hospital that is Nyhaven.

WiFi did not work for three days, our fire escape signs were hand drawn, the shared bathroom did not have a door on our side and the curtains were missing. Getting to the shower was an active construction site and there is no kitchen or laundry. However, room is incredibly cheap, in a good location and beds were actually clean. 4/5.
