Everything was great, except for one specific incident involving one specific staff member. During the check-in process, the reception staff rudely told me that I should have informed them if I couldn't make it to check in on my originally booked day, as there might not be a room available for me. I was shocked because the room had been booked and paid for entirely by the company. So, in what world could he say that I might not get a room simply for checking in a few hours late without informing them, especially since the room was already paid for? He didn't even smile or act friendly while speaking to me, which made me feel awkward and uncomfortable throughout the process. When I tried to explain my situation, he interrupted me and just handed me the room card. I felt unwelcome, and being Asian, I couldn't help but wonder if that was the reason. Hopefully, this kind of RACIST behavior will be eliminated among the hotel staff soon! I'm not staying for free or begging for anyone's money here! The rest of the hotel staff were friendly and remarkable, though.
