On warm summer days you can spend the day on the Saco river/lake with a canoe, kayak or tube!. Take a joy ride to Mount Washington and the White Mountains and enjoy the scenic Kancamagus Highway, Diana’s Bath, and Cathedral Ledge. Head over to Jackson NH and check out some of the local farms, iconic covered bridges, and go back in time at Nestlenook Farm (where they offer ice skating, sleigh rides, outdoor firepits and s'mores) DID SOMEONE SAY STORYLAND? The Kids will enjoy a day at Story Land or Santa’s Village, or if an amusement park is not your thing spend the afternoon at Settlers Green Outlet Village. DOWNTOWN (The Village) As you enter the Downtown you immediately feel nostalgic. The best way to enjoy it is to park your car and explore. The small local stores such as Zebs General Store take you back to a simpler time. Stroll along and Browse the art galleries, clothing & toy stores. Unique Little trinkets can be found as you explore the alleys off downtown. Then enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the many local restaurants and bars (some offer outdoor seating) Sip tea/coffee at a local coffee shop or enjoy ice cream cones on a hot summer day.
