Excellent BnB with great views. Staff are on the ball and friendly. Rooms are modern, a good size, and have balconies with great views. Breakfast was good too (standard is continental, but omelets are made on request). Noise from the highway below was a bit of a damper, but nothing which prevent us from returning.

Just spent two great nights at B&B Vista Lago. We were “those people” arriving later than expected and leaving early and they were so nice and accommodating to us it was beyond expectation. The view is beautiful, just as pictured. A quick cab ride into Como for about €20 each way so don’t have to worry about driving if you’re not comfortable. Great breakfast overlooking the lake and again the service was wonderful. Would stay again and recommend for a relaxing low key stay with great friendly service.

We have just had our 2nd visit to this fabulous property. Our room was spacious, modern, tastefully decorated and very clean with a lovely big balcony and an amazing view of Lake Como and snow capped mountains. The breakfast was very good and our host was very welcoming and super attentive. We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful view from the room and for breakfast The staff were very helpful in getting us into Como as taxi’s can be a problem And there is no safe pedestrian walkway from the hotel Loved the breakfast the Bed and shower with a view highly recommended if you have a car

Although we arrived late we were expected and taken care of immediately! The views from this location over the lake are exceptional from the suite and also the breakfast terrace where we were personally served. The interior of the accommodation is artistically and thoughtfully designed and we hope to spend a longer period on our next trip

Sweet like dream, staff is more than excellent, Breakfast on the lake is unbelievable. Weather is great. Neighborhoods is completely amazing, lake, mountains, food, cycling, everything. Cleanness is great. I am going to repeat this trip again and again.

I did extensive research on hotels, resorts, B&Bs, and boutique hotels in the Lake Como area. We wanted great views, but an intimate environment. We also want "value" for the funds we allocate for our vacation. From the time we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome in this gorgeous beautifully modern boutique B&B. This is a family-run operation and the people are very kind and welcoming. Everyone working there is multi-lingual, and we had no problems whatsoever communicating. Jonas checked us in, helped us with our bags, and kindly gave us a brief tour. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful, but respects their guests' privacy. There are six suites and all of them have wonderful views of Lake Como. The pictures are accurate. They are simply spectacular. There is a very nice bed, comfortable with a firm mattress (I am picky about having a firm mattress.) It is nicely furnished with comfortable chairs to soak in the amazing views. The closets are spacious and provide ample room to place your luggage, unpack, and items such as extra pillows. The mini-fridge is stocked with food and beverages for purchase at reasonable rates (especially for mini-bars) and there is room for a few of your own favorite beverages if they do not have your brand of choice. The breakfasts are excellent. They have delicious pastries, fruit, cheese, and various cold cuts. They also will make cooked-to-order fresh eggs, which were done perfectly. Italians love their coffee, and B&B Vista Lago has high-end cappuccino machines for guests who want lattes, espressos regular coffees, etc. With only six apartments/suites. it is a more intimate experience. The B&B sits high on a hill with breathtaking views of the lake. The location is fantastic as it provides easy access to restaurants, the lake, shops, and any activities one may choose to partake in. It is also very secure. They have a security gate that closes each evening until morning, and guests each are provided a remote control for the gate (in case they are returning from a late dinner). The entire common area (as well as the rooms) is kept very clean and fresh. The value here is top-notch. If you are looking for great views, kind and gracious hosts, and a more intimate smaller boutique hotel or B&B feel, Vista Lago is highly recommended. We will certainly be returning.
