Motel 6 Columbus, Oh - OSU

Enjoyed my stay staff respectful

Not very clean. I had hair on my bed sheets. I had no shower curtain in my room when I checked in. The room was missing a remote. No one serviced my room while I was there (didn't empty trash or bring fresh towels). There was also a language barrier that made it hard to communicate w/ the staff.

Room smelled like cat piss and toilet wouldn’t flush unless you pulled the lid off and flushed it manually.

We told them the room didn't have a remote for the TV and no one kever brought one to us. We asked for more towels and that didn't happen. And then the tub was a wheelchair bathtoom and we went to shower and water ran all over the floor of the room.

Room 220 was by the boiler room. Loud, annoying mechanical sounds all night long. Terrible sleep. Requested a room change, told that we would receive one. Didn’t receive it. Told that the only room available had no working water. Had a headache the 2nd night due to sound. Our room also had uncomfortable bed just sitting on top of wood box. No springs. Someone had wrapped their panties around the smoke detector. I also reported that and it was not removed by housekeeping, our room was not cleaned. Had to get the person running the front desk to get it down the 2nd night. Found dead bedbugs 2nd morning. Best part of the stay was the 2 ply toilet paper. Tiles broken, bathroom door had to be forced open and closed. Photos of everything. 17/100 stay. Requested full refund. Do not recommend staying here under any circumstances.

The only reason I booked this place was because it had a pool but it wasn't open once again I stayed here a few years ago and the pool was the same way then as it was this past stay I definitely won't be staying here again if your not going have the pool open then take it off your list of things the hotel has to offer

This Motel 6 advertises itself as non-smoking and has fines for smokers. My room smelled like an ashtray and left a bitter taste on my tongue. My bath towel had a grease stain on it. My showerhead was loose. My air conditioner made noise. My TV barely worked. Don’t stay here unless it’s your last option.

Absolutely horrid!! Wouldn’t stay for free. Non smoking room reeked of smoke; broken toilet seat; feces on bathroom door; paper thin walls, just nasty, asked for a different room was denied and asked for refund so we could leave and was denied. Sent complaint to corporate.

I was on a trip all over the United States, staying at every Motel 6 along the way. Every single location we stayed at has been wonderful to us, except this one! Seems like they have a habit of charging a deposit and inventing reasons on why they don't want to return the deposit. I can say a lot of wonderful things about almost every Motel 6 we have been in, except this on. Stay away unless you want to get stolen from!
