Having family in Columbus, we’ve stayed here many times. The time before this last visit was horrible. Room was filthy, furniture broken. I contacted customer service and we were assured this was a one off and they would look into it. We decided to give this hotel another chance and yikes. The room this time was even worse. The black and pink bacteria in the shower was so thick, the room was incredibly dusty, and the thermostat didn’t work at all. Contacted customer service again and we were given 10k points. Not enough to stay at any of their hotels. So disappointed in Marriott. Never again.

The air conditioner didn’t work properly. The room never got below 77 degrees even with air set on 65.

The staff was great. The breakfast ladies were friendly and fabulous. The room was clean - the beds were very clean and comfortable. There was rust on the doorframe beside the bathroom from the moisture that looked very unappealing. The decor in the hotel was slightly outdated. Overall, I would definitely stay again. The rooms did not feel dirty, but the rust and decor issues being resolved would have improved my review.

Upon checking into my room I had my hands full with leftovers, waters, and bags. Debra saw me from across the lobby and stopped what she was doing to welcome me to the hotel and give me a hand with my belongings up to my room. She left me a personalized note inviting me to the bistro where her and ms. Hughes were delightful to talk to and provided excellent service. I travel half the year for work and I have never felt more welcomed at a Marriot property than I did today thanks to those two.

The hotel was clean and had a welcoming and fresh feel! It smelled good and the room was clean and cool upon arrival. Very quiet and cozy. Roomy bathroom/shower. Great overnight stay.

We arrived to the hotel after a long 12 hour plus drive. When we checked in we had to change rooms 3x. All the rooms were a disappointment and not up to the Marriott Standard. They all had heavy stains in the carpet and discoloration near bath room and outside the rooms near the bathrooms. Then we tried to order food from the Bistro 8:28pm the lady told us the kitchen was closed because they close at 9pm. It was very disappointing night. We didn’t get much sleep. One of our worst Marriott stays. However, the front desk clerk was helpful despite the condition of the hotel.

Terrible experience! The staff was very rude. The 24 hour Starbucks coffee does not exist. they shut it down at 11:00 A.M. We had difficulty getting towels (4 of us in a room and only 2 towels). Cats were in the lobby. Employees and their friends were smoking, even though it is a tobacco-free property.

If you like smelling **** and cigarette smoke and have no towels because the employees are the ones doing the smoking you should stay here! The hallways, the pool area, everywhere smells like cigarette smoke and ****. They’re were employees or friends of employees vaping in the elevator. Just disgusting.
