Fairfield Inn & Suites Colorado Springs Air Force Academy

Management was very rude. As I was waiting to checkin, another guest was informed that they were out of coffee. No in-room coffee service. Three other customers were in the very small, dirty lobby talking about diarrhea, laughing and carrying on in very loud voices. Not only is the hotel, if it can be call that, located in a parking lot behind a car wash, it is so far from the road, no one can see it! Probably their plan since it’s such a mess. No one driving by would ever consider staying here. The place is a dump. Do not waste a dime on this place. Simple awful.

I was really disappointed on this stay at this Fairfield Inn. Facility was okay, room nice, but they have instituted a $3 parking charge. I asked about it both at check-in and check-out and some story about towing and parking. If they have a parking issue for non-guests, simply give the guests the same 2x2 piece of paper to put on their dash. Do not charge them $3 for this. As a Bonvoy member, other members approached us at breakfast and asked us about it. They were as irritated as we were. If they want to raise income, do so in the rates, not some cheap nickel and dime thing. What next, elevator charges, free breakfast but if you use utensils, there is a charge. I was told when asked at check out, other facilities do not charge for parking. Not said, but indicating maybe I should go their next time. I received two review requests from this hotel guest services. I replied the same as here. No response from either of them. I found this cheap charge very disappointing from this Fairfield.

We had a most pleasant two night stay here. Out suite was impeccably clean and had a great sitting area. The location was very quiet. Internet worked well. There is a breakfast buffet with some hot items available. The absolute best part was the hospitality of every staff member I met. They were awesome! I look forward to staying here again.
