Ambalama Leisure Lounge

Its not wandering why this place called ambalama(sinhala). Its truely an ambalama. Rooms are not clean specially the metress was heavy with dirt and uncleaned. Found a condom packet in the cupboard. Felt like a common බඩු පොට්. Towels were not there and had to call and get them. Unfortunately towels smelled very bad and disgusting, definitely used once without any clean Or even without drying on sunlight. Washroom was uncleaned and just a label with sanitized (definitely it wasn't). You will be asked the dinner and the next day's breakfast at once. We asked some time but they were hurry. There are some pros in this place. They have super calm environment even on the weekends.(Once you visited you'll never visit again😂). There's a jungle with a trees and shrubs. Massive ground with a good maintenance. Saw the good pool but hesitated swim. Had a camp type common area with some huts. Foods were decent but they were hurry with ordering process.

Arrived from the Colombo airport and stayed overnight in an AC Room before travelling to scenic areas of Sri Lanka. Location of this facility was great as it is beside a main highway leading to upcountry. Staff were friendly and attentive, room was adequately equipped and stay was comfortable. Breakfast was good with several Sri Lankan food choices. The green environment in the property is making it an ideal location to break your journey or have a relaxing stay and enjoy tasty Sri Lankan food. Overall it is good value for money.

Great place to visit for tasty foods, with reasonable prices.friendly staff. Eco friendly. calm and silence stay. nice place to relax. clean and spacious and a beautiful environment hope to visiting again.
