Clean room, good breakfast and nice staff

Room 305 is a single room with a curved window wall (I felt like a princess in her tower); quite spacious and very well appointed. A single bed, desk, lots of storage, a water kettle with assorted teas, lots of information about the hotel and it's history, a mini bar and a flat screen TV, as well as wine and water glass. The bathroom is small, but very functional. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and very well attended. The room and public spaces were very clean! Everyone I came in contact was extremely helpful and friendly and the location is amazing! Two minutes to the river, where you can stroll along the promenade and be at the Cathedral within about 15-20 minutes. Parking is limited, but available. I can't wait to come back.

Location was great, room was very comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. The only 2 things which could be better are the pillows and towels.

Had a one night stay when travelling through Germany. The woman at the front disk was extremely freindly and service minded. Room was great and spotlessly clean. Hotel is located in a quiet area, but only 5-8 minutters walk to lots of restaurants and bars in the centre of Cologne. Parking could, depending on arrivaltime, be a challenge. This is our second stay at the hotel - we will definitely return again.

Wir haben uns rundum einfach nur wohl gefühlt. Zunächst begrüßte uns das Personal am Eingang schon sehr freundlich und dann waren wir einfach nur hin und weg von dem historischen Erscheinungsbild des Anwesens. Das Hotel war wohl zuvor ein Musikmuseum und zählt als historisches Gebäude aus der Jugendstilzeit. Überall findet man immer wieder Elemente aus vergangenen Epochen und das macht das Hotel so einzigartig. Außerdem hat uns die Deckenmalerei im Foyer so gut gefallen. Das Frühstücka-Buffet hatte alles zu bieten, was man so braucht: Von Joghurt, Müsli, Brötchen über l Kaffee usw. Alles super. Wir waren in der Suite untergebracht und in der Stadt, um Familie und Freunde zu besuchen. Alles ist absolut fußläufig. Der Rhein liegt praktisch direkt vor der Tür und wir konnten so sehr entspannt an der Promenade entlang in etwa 15 Minuten die Altstadt erreichen. Ebenso schnell ist man am Musical Dome oder im Kölner Dom. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Pequeño hotel ubicado a 8 minutos del centro en metro, en una zona muy tranquila y a 10 minutos andando del zoológico de Colonia. Dispone de un muy pequeño aparcamiento, pero hay disponibilidad de plazas de pago en la calle, aunque en estos momentos se encuentra en obras y es difícil aparcar. El hotel es un poco antiguo, con escaleras en la entrada y escaleras de acceso a los primeros pisos de habitaciones, así como escaleras para bajar al desayuno. Sin embargo, los operarios de recepción, ambos muy amables, tanto el hombre de la tarde como la mujer del turno de mañana, se ofrecieron amablemente a ayudarme con mi equipaje. La habitación está muy bien, limpia y confortable. La temperatura es agradable y la cama muy cómoda. El desayuno es abundante, con muy buena bollería y galletas, así como mermeladas y frutos secos. Se echa en falta una máquina de zumo natural recién exprimido. Le daría mucho valor al desayuno. Personal súper amable y agradable. Me ayudaron con sus indicaciones a llegar al centro, al zoo, y pasear por la zona. Recomendable 100x100 Volveremos seguro.

Die drei Punkte sind für das sehr schöne Gebäude, den netten Empfang, das saubere Zimmer, die ruhige und doch zentrumsnahe Lage! Das Badezimmer war Mini; der Frühstücksraum in Anbetracht der Anzahl von Gästen nicht ausreichend und sehr eng. Das Frühstück war das Geld leider nicht wert - sehr schade.
