I recently stayed at the Red-Carpet Inn located at 9624 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival on January 20, 2025, I encountered several issues that made my stay unpleasant. Firstly, I had previously experienced problems such as no electricity and no hot water during past visits. Despite these issues, I decided to give the motel another chance. However, this time, the situation was even worse. I had informed the owner multiple times that my card was locked and requested to be notified before it was charged. Despite sending 15 emails as reminders, my card was charged before I even arrived at the motel. Additionally, the owner had the incorrect zip code for my card and refused to rerun it while I was present. The most humiliating part of my experience was when the owner called me derogatory names and told me to leave the premises. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I feel deeply humiliated by this treatment and believe that no guest should ever be subjected to such disrespect. I am reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau in hopes that appropriate action will be taken. I strongly advise potential guests to consider other accommodations in the area to avoid similar experiences. Thank you Kathryn Switzert
