Food, ambience and service was great. Good job- Dora and Deepak. A good place to visit with kids for brunch. Fresh food served with passion was a good experience. Had a relaxed, fun filled lunch time with friends. More than glad to visit ***y more time.

Gorgeous place to arrive with one's family. The restaurant is indeed an elegant setup for a magical time. The place sent off a pleasant aura of comfort and thrill. Be it a staff from the front office, house keeping or the restaurant, each one was truly hospitable to their limits. Our stay was made relaxing and unbelievable by the relentless assistance of the staff here, whom we would really wish to thank. Staff I would like to recommend and meet Chef Suresh Chef Deepak Gaurav Praveen Surely we will visit again,,,🥰

Always enjoy my stay at this place whatever the occasion is, whether I am travelling for business or for leisure. Lovely location right on Race Course road, short distance from the center as well as from the airport. The staff make it very special for our stay. Bimal from housekeeping with a smile on his face, always takes special care to keep our room neat, clean and stocked up. Deepak always made us feel special at the dining table and took care of the minutest of details of our culinary cravings. Special mention to Bijit, not only for his impeccable service but also for the sweetest behaviour at the dining area. Sinheri also took good care of us at the dining hall. Shiva is an excellent driver with great local knowledge, and took good care of us on our sightseeing trip to Ooty. Overall a great stay and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Very poor service by Staff and they are rude. We have ended up requesting multiple times to get basic things like towels, dental kit etc in the room . Also there is no way to call house keeping directly and you have to request everything via reception. Finally they sent me the things only after I told them that you can bill for dental kit, towels etc. Overall Pathetic experience from welcome ITC

Three of us spent one night at an executive suite in the Welcomhotel Coimbatore. 1. Let’s begin with the biggest complaint first. Halfway through a morning shower, the hot water simply stopped flowing both from the tap at the washbasin and from the showers too. Took about 15 minutes to resolve so I finished my bath with cold water which isn’t a big deal in a Kovai summer. But this is not something you want to happen at this price point, or, indeed, at a price point half as high as this. More so when you’re occupying an executive suite. Extremely disappointing. 2. There was some confusion at checkout. Our reservation included all 3 meals. And we had signed for one of those meals, and the restaurant had posted it as a bill payable. Reception took a few minutes to sort that out. 3. The lobby almost doesn’t exist. Once you pass through the doors, you are in what can at best be described as a passage facing the reception. This is well-lit, and I do like the aesthetics, but it’s just surprisingly small. Not complaining about this though; I was just amused. 4. We had an a la carte lunch and a buffet dinner. The quality of the food is, overall, good, as you would expect of the ITC group. The food at their Fortune hotels is often very good too. The buffet seemed to play to the crowd a little – there was a little too much tempering, it was a little too strong in its approach. But still, that is nitpicking. A la carte was pretty good. The staff are patient at taking orders and orders are taken seriously. But their knowledge of the menu isn’t sufficient. They have a dish called “ritu ki sabzi” or something of that sort which translates into “seasonal vegetables.” When we asked what the vegetables were this season, the best the waitress could do was to say “carrot” twice. The dish too was something like that: Nothing particularly seasonal about the vegetables. 5. We had an early breakfast. The buffet wasn’t quite ready yet. Nevertheless, the spread on the buffet is satisfactory but not as wide as you would expect. The quality of the food is excellent. The service was mediocre: I ordered a masala dosa which didn’t show up for 10 minutes. On inquiring about it again, the waitress (a different person) thought I was placing a fresh order and informed me that it would take about 10 minutes, a point which was never brought to my notice when I first ordered it. So I ordered a plain dosa instead. 6. Overall, the aesthetics of the hotel are nice. The restaurant, however, is dimmer than I’d like. At dinnertime, there was live music in the restaurant. I suspect that the hotel didn’t think its guests had personalities, because the loud volume made conversation extremely inconvenient. The rhythm was good (because it was essentially a metronome type of thing), the singer might have had some relationship with melody at some point in some life, but his accent made it (un)clear to us that nobody knew what the words of the songs were. 7. Everything is good. Particularly, Chef Deepakji at restaurant gives "at home" feel and meets all our expectations. Even the housekeeping services staff are very helpful. Needle to say the concierge personnel are receptive and wel ***nered.

I had booked the hotel 6 months in advance for the Mahashivarathri at Isha, Coimbotore for March 7-9. When I went to the hotel, they said that I did not have March 7 booked and that I had only March 8th booked. March 7th would have the highest de***d as it was the night before Shivarathri and all the hotels in town were fully booked. I showed them my Orbitz booking details where it said that I had the booking secured For March 7-9th. I had a confirmation number and itinerary number and the Orbitz representative said it was CONFIRMED. They also said that "It's important to note that the cancellation was initiated by the hotel" These were his (Kumar) very words. I am a lady, traveling Solo from US and the hotel canceled my reservation for one of the nights, the night that was crucial and in de***d for attending the Mahashivarathri, without sending me a single message. I was stranded in a strange town with nowhere to go. They obviously did this to get a better price from another customer. The hotel kept blaming Orbitz. However, I believe the hotel was at fault. The reception personnel (Hareesh) told me all the rooms are booked, but they would have to bump someone out to give me a room. So this seems like a practice they follow. But the ***ager (Krishnamurthy), said sorry this happened, and find another room somewhere else. That was it! No apologies, no regrets, no conscience, nothing. We book on trust. This is unpardonable.
