The Econo Lodge near the Port is rather old and a little dumpy, but the staff was very nice and the bed was comfortable.

Hotel was clean but room smelled like smoke. In addition I had booked 3 rooms under 3 different names “to be paid at check in”. To my surprise when 1st son checked in my account was charged, 2nd son checked in my account charged. We all arrived at different times. I questioned clerk who told me since I made reservations I had to pay. I checked with my sons, they also had been charged as they checked in on their credit cards. Clerk clearly lied when questioned. Said charges were only “pending “ but my bank had paid those charges. I was then told to see manager in the morning & I would get my money back. my problem is clerk knew they had double charged but lied and said they had not been charged. It was my responsibility to pay. Eventually the manager next day fixed the problem. Appreciated that he was on it as soon as he came in. Hopefully my refund is as quick as they deducted it. But room was clean and bed comfortable

Housekeeping kept my earbuds that I left in the room and called backed within 4 hours of checking out once I discovered I had left them plugged in the room.

Enjoyable and pleasant. Just what I expected for the budget.
Reception was very nice and friendly, even allowed us to check-in 4 hours early since I explained that my family were tired from our long drive arriving.
Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a simple night's stay.

Ended up not staying at the hotel due to the conditions of the hotel itself, and the room assigned to me. The front desk area was drab and dirty. The desk clerk was not friendly at all. The outside of my room door was littered with cigarette butts and empty beer cans. The inside of the room had roaches on the curtains, bed bugs, and filthy floors. I walked in, inspected it, and promptly left. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!
