Beautiful property with the ocean just a few yards away. The grounds were filled with amazing plants and animals--howler monkeys, tucans, dart frogs, agouties--and while the ocean could be a bit rough, the tide pools were sandy bottomed and deep enough to swim in without being hit by waves. Fabulous all around!

beautiful place. a little dated but not out dated. younger man at desk did not have much information about nearby places. gardens and beach were amazing. snorkeling was pretty good right there too.

Very comfortable and well kept. Great dining, pool Jacuzzi and the beach is so close. I felt safe and a lot within 20 walk. The staff were great. Plan tours early. Horseback riding on the beach is recommended

We really enjoyed our balcony and the awesome views of the ocean. We were greeted by a family of monkeys on most mornings. The daily breakfast was good and the staff was really responsive.

Beautiful tropical hotel. Large room, kitchen, big covered patio with table and lounge chairs. Ocean front. Secured parking, I would recommend and I would return here.

We have stayed here in the past and have returned for a part of a 3 week adventure in Costa Rica. We have seen more wildlife on this and surrounding property than we have on guided tours.

The area our front is excellent for snorkeling at high tide. Lovely property right on the beach.

I loved to wake up and see the beach from my bed. I have the sea in the front window and the jungle 50 mts back.
The verdant context contrasts with the blue sky.
People is very nice and you can go to Puerto Viejo in only five minutes in moto-taxi (red motorcycle one diver and two passengers)
