Travelodge Cockermouth

My wife and I had an overnight stay, I must say the whole process was fantastic, staff were very helpful,friendly and accomadating. Breakfast was wonderful great start to the day, worth every penny. All told we would highly recommend and have now found our go to whenever we're in the lakedistrict.

The rooms are clean, comfy and very quite. The breakfast is definitely in need of improving. The fresh fruit salad didnt look very fresh and the quality of the bread and croissants that's offered definitely needs updating to something more appetising thank Mother's Pride sliced white and brown and pre-packed croissants.

Perfect for our overnight stop on the way to Scotland. The room was spotless and so was the bar cafe. Breakfast was everything you need to set you up for the day. A good range of cooked and continental items in a clean and pleasant dining area. Bed was comfy with spotless linen. Very quiet overnight. Staff were unfailingly cheerful and helpful making sure that we were ok when we had to call the AA out due to a pesky sensor failing. We'll definitely be back.
