Coconut Grove Resort by Techtravel

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. From the rooms to the pool to the outdoor area, it was absolutely out of this world. The new owners completely renovated it and did such an amazing job! The rooms were stunning, fresh, and cozy. It felt more like a home than a hotel room even more than my own apartment back home. My kids absolutely loved the pool and sand area. It was amazing to be able to sit under the cabana or in a shaded area while the kids played and we were able to keep an eye on them. Coconut Grove has EVERYTHING you need to stay here. You have the pool, the grill and even a laundry room! You can’t find this type of set up anywhere! We were so sad to leave but can’t wait to return again on our next trip to Clearwater Beach.

This vacation was ruined by this property and their management. Place was not stocked as it was supposed to be. There were no dishes, no coffee supplies, there wasn't even a trash can. The shower curtain had holes in it and was barely hanging as it had been tied to the last remaining curtain rings. We pulled the sheets back at night and found trash in between the sheets. There was food found on the counter and the unit clearly had not been cleaned. The electrical outlets had no cover on them which I'm pretty sure is a huge safety issue for those with kids. What made it worse was when we reached out to the rental company they never got back to us. How's that for customer service? The rental company simply ignored us and to this day have still made no attempt to respond to our issues. The place was so gross we simply left, ate the $500 dollar cost, and went and checked into an actual hotel. I can't believe what an absolute scam this place is.

From check in to check out the employees at this location are fantastic! We had a flight to Philadelphia from MIA the following evening and Roxy ( the manager) accommodated us with an early check in and also gave us a late check out at no charge! She truly went above and beyond to help us out and it shouldn’t go unnoticed! The room was perfect and very clean! The pool and hot tub were awesome! My gf is Vegan and I’m vegetarian. Needless to say it’s never easy finding options but this hotel actually served VEGAN SAUSAGES among so many other options! This place and staff are 5 ⭐️ all day! You won’t be disappointed!
