Bellbridge House Hotel

Fantastic stay at the Bellbridge Hotel! I stayed here with a cycling group coming from Mizen and their hospitality was outstanding and much appreciated. Clearly a well-known and iconic spot of Miltown-Malbay. I would recommend this spot for any stay. Or even just dinner or breakfast if you are just passing through!

What a lovely stay we had last weekend at The Bellbridge Hiuse Hotel. Lovely staff. On Saturday morning the person in charge of breakfast was extremely accomodating. I am a wheelchair user and the lady couldn’t do enough for us. To making sure we were comfortable at the table to bringing our coffees to the table and constantly checking we were ok. I can’t say the same for Sunday morning. After giving our room no she asked us if we were here before. She wasn’t a bit helpful. As a wheelchair user I had requested a wheelchair accessible room. The room wasn’t at all accessible. There wasn’t enough floor space to get around room without hitting off the furniture and the bathroom was too small. I had to leave the bathroom door open each time I used it and lastly the hand soap was too far up on wall to reach it. I was using my portable chair which is smaller than my main chair. The disabled room needs to be a lot bigger. And also this needs to be advised to tourists when booking. The hotel was immaculate and beds were very comfortable. It didn’t spoil my weekend but it might for someone more disabled than I am.

Delightful two weekend nights in the Bellbridge, a wonderfully friendly hotel, very comfy and delicious food throughout. Must give a special mention to the fabulous Anna who looked after us three cousins on the Saturday morning for breakfast so attentively. We'll be back!
