This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are comfortable, modern and spacious . The standard of cleaning exceptional . The food both a breakfast and in the bar very good. The staff were marvellous , every single one friendly and helpful . I’d like a make a special mention of one of the bar staff who very kindly reopened the bar for us after our late arrival so we could have a G &T nightcap . Then left us to us with a “ no hurry , just leave when you’re ready.” Or words to that effect. Lovely chap. The whole experience was an object lesson in how hotels should be run. I’m a bit fan of Seth Hotels as a consequence.

Excellent hotel, it’s been designed to a very high standard with amazing attention to detail. Even the Dining room chairs have been given first class trea**ent! The rooms, food and the excellent staff are top quality. I have given positive feedback to our Travel Agent, we would return in a heartbeat!

Incredibly hard-working and very friendly staff. The hotel is situated in a great location, a ten to fifteen minute stroll into Ciutadella, which is a beautiful town (market days Monday and Friday). The communal areas are bright and spacious, with indoor and outdoor seating areas and seating around the bar. The room was a good size with a very modern bathroom and huge walk-in shower and a small seating area. All of the rooms have outdoor space. There is an outdoor pool and several seating areas, an indoor pool and spa offering trea**ents at an extra cost and a small gym. The only slight let-down was the food. There are no hotplates so the buffet-style food did get cold quickly, although it was replenished almost constantly. There wasn't a lot of choice for vegetarians and vegans, but I didn't starve! Gluten free is available by contacting the hotel. There are chefs who can cook your breakfast eggs, evening meat and fish to order, as well scrambled eggs, met and fish dished being readily available already cooked. Overall I'd highly recommend Seth Port, and hope to visit again.

Stayed in sea view room, furnished in a contemporary style, that caught the sun in the late afternoon and evening. Stunning views. Great facilities kept scrupulously clean and tidy. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with an amazing amount of choice. Comfortable and stylish bar/restaurant. 10 minute walk into the beautiful city of Ciutadella. Enjoyed strolls along the rocky coastline and round the headland to the old port.

Spent a week here as we have previously stayed at their sister hotel in Es Castell near Mahon. The Port Cuitadella is classed as a 4 star plus. Although large areas have been revamped, the dining room let it down . It was dark and oppressive, and outside seating area was better but limited seating. Food not up to 4 star standards. Soup thin and not hot. No hot plates on offer so food got cold quickly. My husband brought this to the attention of the hotel manager. Our room was positioned on the first floor overlooking a side street. Not wonderful. Easy and pleasant walk into Cuitadella. Small beach nearby in cove. Would we return. No. We much prefer the hotel in Es Castell!

We stayed here in October and this hotel is really a lovely hotel to stay at with everything you could need. It was clean, rooms nicely done with a mini fridge, bar area was nice with seating indoors & outdoors. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, Jose in the bar also very friendly. All the reception staff were very helpful and gave information when asked. We stayed here on bed & breakfast basis and found plenty of choice at breakfast both hot & cold. We did eat on an evening twice and paid 25 euros each and we found there was plenty of choice. Where people said on other reviews about running out of plates we didn't see this at all. Think the refurbishment of the Spa is needed which I believe is happening this winter. I know the restaurant is due to have a refurbishment as well but we quite liked it in the restaurant and the fact you could sit in the courtyard. We would recommend this hotel and we would go back.

Just spent two weeks here. What a wonderful, relaxing time we've had! The hotel has recently been modernized and looks great. We had a very spacious room with a dressing area as well as a sofa. The pool area is a good size and plenty of beds. All the staff have been so friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable one. Nothing is too much for them! Would definitely come back!

Would highly recommend this hotel; every staff member we dealt with was excellent! We had a ground floor room facing the sea with a sunny terrace. ( only 2 floors to hotel ) A ceiling fan in the room was a pleasant surprise, in addition to air con, keeping us cool in the 30 degree heat! Very comfy bed, loads of storage, and gorgeous bathroom with very effective shower pressure. Soft towels. Wi-Fi great- no problems. Option to delay room cleaning to save resources. Pool is delightful; located in the centre courtyard of the hotel; loads of loungers and several circular beds for two or three, and plenty of umbrellas. We had the breakfast option included, loads of variety and all fresh. Hot and cold options, fruits, breads, and an option to have eggs or pancakes freshly cooked. We also had the evening meal buffet one night, which was about 25 euros each, and which we thoroughly enjoyed; so much to choose from. However, if you love food as we do, we headed other nights into the historical old town of Ciutadella, about a 15 minute walk. You could also do a longer 25 minute route around the water’s edge, to reach the port area, from where you climb up to the town centre. Restaurants which we enjoyed and would recommend; Moriarty, Bistrot es Rodol, Maramao, and Margot for tapas style food, Pizza Santa Clara, and Puspaayu for gourmet burgers. ( A good tip for any of these, particularly Moriarty Rodol and Maramao is to book a night or two in advance as there were often queues for a table). The town centre is buzzing with life each evening and there are craft stalls to browse late at night. There were also clothing and jewellery stalls in the square on Monday and Friday mornings. Fantastic individual shops to browse, and ice creams to be had! We had such a wonderful relaxing holiday! Also lots of history in the town centre, if you search it out. The cloister of St Augustine particularly beautiful. We didn’t do any trips out as we just wanted to stay local and relax, but obviously the whole island awaits you if you prefer! And there is a clear blue sea inlet right in front of the hotel for a salty sea dip if you prefer! Perfect week!
