Akra Fethiye the Residence Tui Blue Sensatori - Ultra All Inclusive - Adults Only

Where do I start?! Our daughter and son-in-law highly recommended we booked The all-inclusive++++ Residence for our 20th wedding anniversary holiday, and I am soooo glad we took their advice. We booked a Penthouse room for 9 nights, flying with EasyJet from Edinburgh, and we splashed out and booked a private return transfer with DM Transfers from Dalaman airport. The transfer was perfect, and more like a limousine with chilled water, tv and wi-fi to enjoy. On arrival at The Residence, we were greeted and ushered to a personal check-in with chilled facial towels, champagne and chocolates, while our luggage was discreetly whisked away to our room for us. We were walked to our room, with the young lady explaining the bars and restaurants to us. Our room was absolutely perfect (we were in 4534) overlooking the immaculately maintained pools with views out to the sea. The penthouses have a private jacuzzi on the balcony along with a double rattan sunbed, table and 2 chairs with a huge rollable parasol which is invaluable in the heat of the day! Our room had a huge bed, balloons and pillow scent and a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us along with a beautiful strawberry heart-shaped cake, as the hotel knew we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary while we were there. Apart from that amazing start, the room had its own lounge area with a jacuzzi bath, double sink vanity units, separate shower and toilet, separate dressing room and every single luxury you can imagine - Kraft paper-packaged bath hats, sewing kits, razor and shaving kits, loofah, toothbrushes, amazing scented hand wash and shower gels and body lotions, dressing gowns and slippers, yoga mats and beach bags, hair driers and hair straighteners, USB points and a UK plug point, iron & ironing board, and so much more. In the room you also had a bar area with 1/2 bottles of whisky, gin, vodka, waters and a bottle of wine, and a fully stocked fridge with water, beer, orange juice, ginger ale and milk, along with a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and pods. All this is refreshed daily, so as you finish a bottle of anything, they will just replace it the next day free of charge. Every day the maid will come in and change the towels and re-make and change the bed, refreshing any toiletries you have used. Then you'll have a visit from the bar man re-stocking your drinks, and then later in the evening while you are out enjoying cocktails and evening meal, housekeeping will return and re-make the bed and do a turn-down service, put the ambient lights on and air conditioning if the room is too warm and close the curtains and re-stock the towels. The amazing staff in the hotel make you feel you are staying in a hotel where you are truly welcome, and you are! From the reception staff to the maids to the pool staff to the restaurant and cocktail staff - without exception they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. First-time visitors to this hotel and it won't be the last. Everything that we have read is true. The hotel is faultless. The staff are really something else and are on another level compared to staff we have encountered in many other 5 Star hotels over many years. All credit to the management, everything is spot on. Everything from pools, pathways, seating, toilets, and gardens is spotless. We have nothing but praise for the top quality of the food and drinks in all areas of the hotel. A special mention must go to the daytime pool staff and all those who work the restaurant's and main foyer area. A must while you are there is to visit the new beach bar on the Sensitori side early evening. The view is stunning in the early evening, and the lads working there are a credit to the hotel.

Just returned from our 3rd visit of this wonderful hotel and can honestly say it just gets better if that is at all possible. We have stayed at some of the best hotels all over the world and nothing has ever compared to this. What really sets this apart is the level of service received from all the wonderful staff who feel like old friends now.They really are a credit to the management. Would like to give a special mention to the lovely sweet Bera at the cuphea bar who works hard and always has a smile on her face and Onur at the beach bar who works tirelessly all day long. We are already counting down the days until we return in October and although we only returned yesterday our first port of call was to the travel agents to book it for next April/May.
