When you are in Churchill, if you are spending a lot of time in your hotel room then you are very much doing it wrong. They provide a very basic clean room at a 2 star hotel that works fine. If you are looking for luxury look elsewhere, but if you want a very well priced room then I would recommend this.

Any lodging in Churchill is booked up during October and November since it is prime polar bear viewing season. This was the only place with two rooms available when I was searching for a booking. It is very basic accomodations with rather small rooms. A basic breakfast is provided with cereals, pastries, boiled eggs, toast, canned fruit, milk, and coffee. They meet the train and planes their customers are arriving on and will store your bags until check in time if your arrival is early. The hotel also has a few vehicles that are available to rent on short notice if you wish to drive somewhere to visit a local site or go aurora viewing. I learned from a reliable source in Churchill that the hotel is in the process of being sold, so there may be some changes by next season.
