Janna Sur Mer

This beach resort is unsuitable for families and refined people. First, it is frequented by notorious girls especially on the VIP zone. Second, the treatment of customers by the reception staff team and the security is terrible and I didn’t like it at all.

I recently visited Janna sur mer and was very disappointed with my experience. The entrance was poorly maintained, making it difficult to access the beach. Security staff told us to stand outside . I also received a warning from the lifeguard for sitting on the side of the pool under the pretext that I won't fall, but he allowed girls to dance on the bar without any issues. Additionally, the beach isn’t suitable for children .The overall customer service was lacking, with staff appearing uninterested in helping guests. It was a frustrating experience, and I expected much better from such a popular destination.

We visited Jannah sur Mer with family! The place needs some great attention when it comes to cleaning! Pool water was not clean and some areas in the pool are not painted! The beach is not accessible as it is rocky and we struggled to leave the water ! But the worse part is there is no life guards at the beach. Toilets and showers very dirty! Food was good but price of the small fish Bezri was over charged ! When asking the waiter she replied the system was updated but not the menu ! In another country this is not legal to charge different then menu . I went to the lockers for shower, doors open, lights on , but showers are locked so I headed out to find out that I was locked inside! What a frustrating situation to be jailed behind a door and no one answering my calls. When the attended came he said why you go inside it is closed : how closed with open door and lights on and no sign to say closed. I asked 6 employees for a manager and all of them replied simply “ Why?” Train your team how to handle complaining customer not to attack the customer and try to cover situations by blaming the guest. Will not go back for sure , we paid quite a big amount to have fun we ended up being locked in the toilets by an attended. Would like to mention Meriam waitress and Dani supervisor / manager who did efforts to listen to my issues.

Worst service I’ve ever encountered in Lebanon. From the valet to the servers by the pool, every single person working was rude, inexperienced, and seemed to believe they worked at an upscale establishment - let me assure you, it’s NOT! It’s expensive, the pools are dirty, as are the sun beds - overall, a bad experience for us.

Hygiene and cleanliness levels are very poor, food is absolutely horrible (breakfast was very poor - big issue with their chef and kitchen staff as minimum knowledge of how to cook and serve is lacking), rooms maintenance is nonexistent as the toilet flush panel fell down and the sink's handle came out when using. Staff is not very helpful and knowledgeable, actually some of them were rude at times. However, i must say that we booked for 2 nights and wanted to change to 1 night, so the manager was very helpful and accommodating and acknowledged our need and experience. Quality of guests is not as it used to be. Overall, the only positive are the bungalow and the view of the sea/beach. Won't go back again for sure.

The Bungalow is great with the small private pool but you gotta be careful at night as you cant see the limit and might fall as my 2 cousins did. The View of the sunset and sunrise are breathtaking. The main pool is OK. The prices are expensive. The staff is not friendly not all. The service is awful. If you take the first floor level without havin friends taking the 2nd level, you might end up like us; couldnt sleep all night from the noise of the running upstairs. I wouldnt recommend the place unless you dont give a sh// about the service and comfort and you are there for the place.
