We booked an apartment at this accommodation from May 22 to 27. When we tried to communicate with them, they didn’t even bother to respond—neither through Booking nor via message. Due to a late check-in, we wanted to notify them, but the only response we received on the day of our trip was a code for the key and an ‘OK.’ That was already suspicious. When we arrived at the accommodation, what greeted us was filth everywhere and a penetrating stench. The bedding consisted of only one pillow. It was disgusting. Since we arrived at 2 AM, we had no choice but to stay one night. However, before going to bed, we booked another accommodation because I have traveled to many places, including Egypt, and I have never seen such a filthy nest—not even in the simplest lodgings. It was below criticism and utterly unacceptable. The next day, we left the apartment and reported the issue to the reception, which was basically just a storage room. The receptionist told us to request a refund through Booking. We did, but just as they had ignored our calls, they also didn’t respond to Booking, meaning we lost the refund for the nights we didn’t stay. I wouldn’t even allow such a host on the internet. I’m not someone with high luxury demands, but I strongly advise anyone who can avoid this place to do so—because it will be a huge disappointment. Both the accommodation and the way they handle problems are disgusting.
