Akti Beach Hotel & Village Resort

We’ve just come back for a 1 week stay at Akti Beach and it was lovely! The food was great with something for everyone each night. We really liked that each night has a theme with our favourite being ‘international’ night. There’s pretty much always food available as they serve pool snacks at 10.30 and 15.30 as well as breakfast lunch and dinner. The pool area is lovely although it was getting incredibly busy and some people were not being very aware of people around them (not the hotel’s fault). The entertainment around the pool is great, always something to do. The hotel is generally clean but it’s quite run down in places- a broken sofa in the reception area as an example. We were given a studio room and on day 4 of our holiday the air conditioning stopped working. The reception staff in the evening were useless at helping us with this and told us to open a window (in 30 degree heat with no breeze) but the lady on reception in the morning was amazing and moved our room after it got flooded from the portable air conditioning unit they gave us. Our new room was fine and had a lovely pool/sea view. The bathrooms really need updating. They have a shower curtain which in both of our rooms were stained and I think this is quite unhygienic to have with the amount of guests using the rooms. The bath was stained and had yellow streaks on it. Some of our towels were also stained. If the bathrooms were updated it would feel a lot cleaner. There’s lots of sunbeds but if you want a good spot you need to get down early. The location is quite difficult- you need public transport to get anywhere. The hotel shuttle bus is good but it’s restricted times so depends on if you’d like to go at certain times. Taxi companies are ripping people off, charging €40 for a 10 minute journey. We ended up using the ‘bolt’ app which is basically uber. It’s still a bit pricey but not as bad as the taxi companies. If you can afford it, get a hire car if you plan on exploring the area or using the supermarket to get snacks (would recommend as the on site shop is a rip off). Overall it was a lovely stay but I wouldn’t come back unless the bathrooms were updated which may sound pathetic to some but a clean bathroom is vital for me as I like to feel clean after I’ve had a shower- not like I’ve caught something

Lovely two week family holiday, food and drink is great, the rooms are very spacious, plenty of sun beds for everyone and lovely view of the sea. Big shout out to Momo in the entertainment team, a great guy! The hotel has a mini bus service to Phapos harbour and Coral bay, we visited the water park, was really fun. The Tui rep Mark is great and helpful too. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

We have just returned from a family trip to Paphos. Hotel Akti village Cyprus. The whole experience was exceptional. The staff were all friendly helpful and accommodating. Right from the transfer from Paphos airport to our resort the hotel was clean and had a quick and friendly check in. Our rooms were lovely and clean . Bed comfortable. The housemaids worked very hard. Had fresh towels every 2nd day. The restaurant and pool food was varied and good. The all inclusive was very good value. Drinks and ice creams. . Pools were lovely and clean. The only complaint was there was not a safe beach at the resort but there is a lovely man made beach 15 mins by shuttle to Coral bay which is lovely and safe for children . Highly recommend visit to harbour and the night cruise with Paphos cruises which we booked through jet2 rep based at hotel. Great value for 79 euros everything included. Very sad to leave . It was one of our best holidays all round. I must mention all the staff work hard and long hours always polite and the children's club was loved by our granddaughter. And kids entertainment. The activity team were absolutely amazing day and night . Great positive attitude and were great with all the guests. The entertainment programme was varied and of good quality to suit most tastes. Fantastic holiday all round. Definitely a 5 star experience holiday

We honestly had a great experience at this hotel the staff were brilliant especially to one of the ladies in catering who became very friendly with the children photo will be attached of the lady as we didn’t get her name. Most reviews we read are that the hotel isn’t situated in a great area however we did hire a vehicle from emildas adventures and I can say this is a must we were on adventures on the daily! The only bad things I can say about this hotel was there was a slight issue with the evening entertainment as one of the games played wasn’t very child friendly however I did speak to the hotel manager and he changed the game from the following week so he was straight on it however we had a great holiday. We would like to say a great Thankyou to you all!

Just returned and have to put this review on to say what a pleasant hotel this is. The staff are amazing ,never touting for tips just giving exceptional service. Rooms are basic but clean.Good air-conditioning. Never needed to fight for a sunbed just ambled down after breakfast and was never disappointed. The pool temperature was spot on ,and you can also swim in the cove. Food wise we thought it was really good,we enjoyed a different meal every night.Drinks are also really good the menu states next to it which are included in the AI ,very good choice of cocktails and the staff on the evening keep you topped up at your table. We also hired a car at reception for 2 days which arrived within half an hour,then we just dropped the keys back off at reception. Just be aware though ,this hotel is in the middle of pathos and coral bay ,if you want to go to either its the bus or taxi ,we used the buses a lot 6.50 euros for day pass which you may as well get as its two buses into pathos harbour at 2 euros each ,1 bus into coral bay. Well done Akti beach for your excellent staff and facilities thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel right on the sea; food was good with themed nights for a bit of variation; plenty of sunbeds in various locations around the hotel to suit; rooms are clean and spacious with a fridge, sink, kettle and tea & coffee; entertainment every night and during the day - big shout out to Luke & the team for all their hard work keeping everyone amused! Would definitely stay here again.
