和國家公園隔河相望的度假酒店，一定要選別墅，普通客房平平無奇。半日Safari 看到了犀牛大象兩種猴子三種鹿

We spent two nights here while taking part in a safari. The hotel and rooms sit along the river with a view into the national park. Our room was beautiful, spacious and modern with a gorgeous river view. Our private outdoor area had a plunge pool, chairs with table and loungers. Laundry service is available. The outdoor pool is lovely and relaxing. To get to the park, a small non-motorized boat is taken across the river, a 5 minute journey. We did one river boat safari and two game drives. We saw several rhinos, a couple of crocs and plenty of deer.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Meghauli Serai which exceeded our expectations. All the staff were friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location of the lodge is perfect and right on the river with the Chitwan national park on the opposite bank. Starting our early morning jeep safaris involved crossing the river in the cool morning mist. Several times we spotted crocodiles and on one occasion, fresh pug marks of a tiger and her cub along the river bank. We would like to praise our naturalist, Santosh and his driver. Their knowledge and acute observational skills made our jeep safaris very educational and enjoyable. During our adventures we had several good rhino sightings, and on our last day we saw two tigers. The lodge itself had a calm and peaceful atmosphere. All the meals were very good, and the traditional Nepalese dishes were just incredible with subtle use of spices and beautiful presentation. The restaurant staff merit a special mention, and one waitress in particular, Muskan, deserves significant praise. Muskan waited on us throughout our stay with a high degree of professionalism and just the right amount of client contact: neither too chatty and intrusive, nor too aloof and impersonal. Just right. Her knowledge of the Nepali cuisine was very extensive and she explained the ingredients in the various dishes and their preparation in great detail. Meal times were a delight. At breakfast we were serenaded by a bansuri player greeting the dawn. Such a great way to start the day. Certainly, Meghauli Serai is one of the hidden gems of the area.

The Meghauli Serai is set in amazing grounds and views . The entrance overlooks an infinity pool with the jungle in the background . We were fortunate to have Swatika as our guide for the safari drive, walk and boat safari , she is extremely knowleable and engaging . We were lucky enough to see a Tiger , Rhino with calf , Sloth bear monkeys and Deer. Sujan in the restaurant looked after us for all our meals and was very attentive and friendly . The food is amazing and varied , often we just didn’t have the capacity to eat all offerings .All the staff are very attentive and trying to make your stay memorable . The traditional local dancing on our last night was a lovely end to our stay .

By far the best TAJ property we have stayed at. This place is an experience in itself, being inside the iconic Chitwan National Park, the biggest and first national park in Nepal, this place has every element which one would want to experience when on a safari. What differentiate this place is definitely the staff, people, naturalists (who are professionally trained and certified). They employ the local people from the neighbouring village to create employment and support the system around. The food (we went for full board which includes all meals but no drinks) was super delicious. Every meal was a treat and the quality /fresh ingredients could be felt. The safari experience which we did with Santosh was amazing. We opted for 2 safaris since we were here for 3 days, in addition to river safari (must do) , we also did jungle walk (as experience in itself) spotting so many rhinos, wild boar, tiger pug marks, crocs, and number of birds species with spotted deers. We also spotted a baby rhino with the mum We didn't want to leave this place and wanted to extend. But I am sure we will be back again. Thank you to the team and manager Amit for taking care of us and making it a memorable stay from every aspect

My stay at the private pool villa was unforgettable! The villa itself was luxurious and serene, offering complete privacy and comfort. The wildlife safari was thrilling, bringing us close to nature and offering incredible sightings. Ending the day with a peaceful sundowner boating experience was the perfect touch—watching the sunset over the water was magical. This combination of adventure and relaxation made for a truly one-of-a-kind getaway.

From the moment we arrived at Taj Meghauli Serai, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable 2-night stay to celebrate our son’s 3rd birthday. Our villa with a private pool overlooked the stunning Rapti River and the lush Chitwan National Park—a breathtaking sight that was only made better by spotting a few rhinos from the property itself! The villa was beautifully decorated for the birthday surprise, and the celebration arranged by the team is a memory we’ll cherish forever. A big thank you to the entire Housekeeping team for making it look magical! Special appreciation to Mr. Dipanker at the front desk for his warm hospitality, seamless check-in and checkout, and excellent room orientation—it made everything smooth and stress-free. Our naturalist, Swastika, was outstanding—her knowledge, energy, and warmth made our safari tour an absolute highlight. Heartfelt thanks to Chef Narendra Bogati, not just for the delicious meals, but also for personally checking on us at every mealtime to ensure everything was to our liking. Your care did not go unnoticed! We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Ms. Chitra, Mr. Sujan, Mr. Bishal, and Ms. Muskan—your gracious hospitality made us feel right at home. And finally, a special thank you to Mr. Kushwendra Sisodiya, who was always present, ensuring every little detail was perfect and seamless. Meghauli Serai, Taj Safari, is a stunning gateway into the wild beauty of Chitwan National Park. Our stay was filled with unforgettable moments—from close encounters with majestic tigers and one-horned rhinos to watching hornbills and kingfishers take flight across the river at dawn. The variety of birdlife alone is reason to visit. The safari jeeps are the best in the park—open, comfortable, and designed to offer an immersive and safe experience. Our naturalist, Sandip, brought the jungle to life with stories, insights, and deep local knowledge passed down through generations. Our driver, Santosh, was equally fantastic—skilled, sharp-eyed, and always respectful of the animals and their habitat. The lodge itself is serene and luxurious. We stayed in a Rapti Villa with its own private pool and sweeping views of the river. The spa is a hidden gem—peaceful, professional, and surrounded by a breathtaking lotus and water lily pond. The culinary experience is exceptional. The chef is incredibly talented and happy to tailor each meal to your preferences. Much of the produce is grown onsite in their organic garden, and every dish we had was both fresh and beautifully prepared. And don’t miss the fresh lemongrass martini—Sanjay crafts it perfectly using lemongrass snipped from the garden right in front of you. This was more than a trip—it was a transformative experience, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
