Falkensteiner Family Resort Lido Superior

We just departed the hotel after a 4 day stay. We were really impressed by the family program and the activities. Particularly wanted to note a few of our highlights: 1) today the kids were taken to the farm by the kids club organisers. Our 4 year old loved it and the care takers were very professional. 2) the hike with the lamas and alpacas was really memorable 3) rafting was probably the biggest highlight. The bus was organised from the hotel and was efficient and punctual. The activity was incredibly fun for both adults and children. We really recommend it 4) our children loved the playgrounds, sledging, and the trampoline space. For the 4-10 age group it was ideal When we booked we had not appreciated all the special activities for the children and the family that the hotel offers, and that certainly exceeded expectations. Special note to any vegans/vegetarians. While we were disappointed with the choice of vegan food options on the first day, when we asked the kitchen we were actually offered an abundance of good choices. There are many non-dairy options at breakfast upon request, and at least one good option for lunch or dinner. Also a special thank you to the staff who tolerated our two families and all our questions and challenges, and were nice and accommodating.

I typically only try to leave positive reviews, but we have been disappointed after having an amazing experience many times at another Falkensteiner hotel and wanted to share in case it’s helpful for others. We arrived yesterday. The hotel, despite being very expensive, has fallen short in terms of room quality, food and service. We paid an additional 150 euros per night for our two rooms because we hoped to get the renovated suites, only to learn on site that the rooms were more or less similar to those of the lower categories. The superior suite plus is identical in every way to the superior suite for example. The advertised falky nest is another category sadly. At 750 per night, we got a simple room with a big empty space, a tiny tv, and a tiny single bathroom. Certainly not a “suite”. Sadly as we were two families, I had convinced the other couple to also book the higher category rather than the comfort room, and was embarrassed that we paid up for electively the same. Ultimately 750 per night was far too expensive for the category we got. Food variety is very limited, especially at lunch and dinner. Basically pasta and some vegetables. Breakfast is very good however, while variety is not big, it was enjoyable. Compared to the other Falkensteiner (Montafon) where service was incredible, here it was rather cold and distant at times. Amenities for the children and the playgrounds are fantastic. As is the kids club

Very nice resort near Kronplatz and not far from Lago di Braies or Tre Cime. The staff is very kind and the hotel has everything you can immagine, especially for kids but the adults are pampered as well. The rooms (e. g. Falkynest) are amazing.

Our family visited this hotel in June 2022. The first day I was helping my son out of the 5-story water slide when another rider flew into me and knocked me down, fracturing my left elbow. I was in a full arm cast for 2 weeks. There was no one managing the slide, and the hotel took little to no action to improve the safety of the slide while we were there. The management of the hotel took no responsibility and made no effort to compensate us in any way for any of the thousands of dollars spent on medical and vacation expenses. It has been almost 5 months since the accident, and I still have pain in my left arm. Our family vacation with three small children was ruined.

We visited with our nearly 4 year old over a holiday weekend and had a fantastic time! As soon as we arrived we were directed to the terrace for a welcome aperitif, our Little One walked to the edge of the lake, looked around and said, “Wow, this place is Amazing!” He was right. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities with our nearly 4 year old. The pool, water slides, Bobby cars, trampolines, playgrounds and bread on a stick were a real hit. As adults, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dinner, it was terrific, and thoroughly enjoyed cocktails on the terrace. They did a great job on the renovation and hired a really great staff. I would highly recommend a stay.

Absolutely fantastic family resort. We stayed there over the Easter holidays and both us and the kids loved it: A lot of different entertainment options for kids, trampoline with interactive games, rooftop playground, playroom Wonderful warm pool with 3 different areas and slides Amazing food, with great selection at breakfast and in the evening Spotless clean Super friendly staff The only minor comment for improvement is about the size of the dinner tables, too small to host 4 people comfortably
