This place was a cute little bed and breakfast right in front of the bridge into the old city, so it was easily accessible to many of the cafes and famous sites in the old city. The room was well sized for a solo traveler, had lots of sunlight, and had a great view of the temple next door. It was definitely slightly older, but not in a bad or dingy way, just in the fact that the floors creaked a bit. One bad thing though was that the bed was sunken into the ground, and I noticed a few ants walking around in the room near the window and bathroom. The place definitely wasn't infested or anything bad, but I did check my bed every time I got into it and noticed an ant most of the time. The bathroom was well sized, but the shower head was way too high on the wall so I had to hold it while I showered to avoid being shot in the face with water for the entire time. (I'm 6 feet tall (1.83m) for reference). Otherwise this was a cute stay for 2 days and I would consider staying again if I was in a pinch like I was when I originally booked. They also let me check in at 9am instead of 2pm, which was very nice, but then I was forced to pay in cash, which was surprising considering the booking sites, and the check in forms at the guesthouse, state that credit card and PayPal were acceptable payment methods, which was strange and slightly annoying because I didn't have cash on hand at check in. Lol I think that experience is indicative of my experience here overall.
