Peak Edge Hotel

Absolutely top class, lovely room, absolutely amazing food, and wonderful staff. Just gorgeous. The staff were helpful without hovering, the room was gorgeous and the front desk staff helped when we had forgotten a couple of bits. The room's tea and coffee facilities were also lovely.

A really lovely gem, We stayed for my partners 40th birthday for a quiet celebration. As soon as I had made my booking the guest services team emailed asking if there was anything they could assist with and booked us a table for dinner which was greatly appreciated. When we arrived the reception was lovely, spotlessly clean and the lady who checked us in (I wish I had gotten her name) was so welcoming and friendly. Whilst checking in the lady informed us we had been upgraded to a suite which was absolutely lovely and made the trip even more special. Once in the suite everything was perfect, it was spacious and the view was lovely. The bed was absolutely huge and so incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was again spotless and spacious and had toiletries and towels provided. The shower was brilliant and had great pressure, We did try to use it in the morning and couldn’t get the water as warm however it was a very cold morning and I suspect prime time for the hot water so it didn’t bother us and wasn’t worth mentioning to the team. We made two trips to the restaurant on site and both meals were absolutely delicious and the staff so attentive. In the morning for breakfast one of the waitresses had a particularly awkward guest and she had the patience of a saint and kept a smile on her face throughout so hats off to her. Overall it was an absolutely lovely stay, The staff are a credit to this hotel and we both said we hope to return to stay again soon. If you are looking for a little gem with lovely views and luxury this is the place to be.

We had the best of times. Room perfect Dinning room / relaxing areas lovely. Staff all lovely, but one on the evening event bar. Charging everyone for double drinks (saw this 5+ times) claiming to have Miss heard. Apart from that all was 10/10. Definitely, be back again. Thank you.

We stayed for two nights with a group of friends. The hotel is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. The Christmas decorations were outstanding. Every member of staff that we encountered was absolutely wonderful - a smile , polite and very friendly. Our rooms were very spacious and inviting. We ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and plenty of it! We would love to return for another short break in the summer. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful country feel with gorgeous open fires and a really relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and well decorated to match the character of the hotel. Extra touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and a coffee machine make it even nicer. Food was outstanding both for evening meal and breakfast. Highly recommend.

This was a daughter & mum break and we were both very impressed with this stylishly designed, comfortable hotel and impressive restaurant. The hotel has lovely views and it is in a super location (even the torrential rain didn’t spoil anything). Our twin bedroom was spotlessly clean, decorated tastefully and a good size. We dined both evenings in its Red Lion restaurant (in addition to breakfasting here too). We settled in to comfy armchairs in front of one of the many lit fires, where pre dinner drinks were served to us. We chose Champagne (it was perfectly chilled) from the extensive wine list. Our only suggestion would be that guests are offered a small dish of complimentary nuts or similar to accompany the drinks. The restaurant menu offers appealing choices using local fresh and seasonal ingredients. Meals are not only beautifully presented but they are delicious too. A special mention must go to the superb staff. Both hotel and restaurant staff are attentive, polite, professional and friendly. Thank you to all the staff for making this an enjoyable stay. I would certainly recommend Peak Edge Hotel and its Red Lion restaurant without hesitation.
