Premier Inn Chesterfield North

This hotel is our go to hotel when visiting family. The staff are fabulous and always remember us when we go. Due to family circumstances I travelled alone this time,but the staff made me feel so welcome and not alone. Rooms are always clean to a great standard considering it’s an older hotel. It’s always a great night sleep. The restaurant is attached, I would recommend booking a table for breakfast in advance as it can be very busy at weekends. Food is hot and fresh and plenty to choose from.

Not what I expected :(( I thought premier inn was known for great value and great customer service…..not at this hotel….staff I encountered were rude, abrupt and had no shame in talking out loud about other people (I am presuming other staff members)….you might want to be careful that your reception area is also open to guests to sit in. This means we can quite clearly hear staff members talking… With that said the rooms are in need of an update. Very noisy on the corridors at night. We had an issue with our room, the lady with a black bob (not wearing same uniform) was so sharp and blunt it made me feel so uncomfortable and that I was putting her out. Other than the above Oo it stay was ok, however will try other premier inns in the area next time

Good location and staff, but definitely needs a refurb. The heating was broken in our room and we had to use a portable radiator. Although the thermostat seemed modern the wall heater looked ancient. We booked just a couple of weeks before so the price was higher than for an advance reservation and it didn’t feel like value for money.

Located a short walk from the town centre but with plenty of parking. Good room allocation, clean and tidy. Pre-purchased breakfast was recognised by the hotel reception but not by the restaurant next door. Fortunately this was corrected by the staff.

I never cease to be amazed at the wonderful attentive staff at Premier inns and the Chesterfield North hotel is definitely no exception. We were greeted by the very cheerful Hannah who noted that it was my wife's birthday. Having checked in, we settled in to our room which though a little dated and in need of some TLC, was spotlessly clean. We made our way to the restaurant and had a very enjoyable and tasty meal. After the meal, Hannah had made sure that my wife received a birthday card and some shortbread from the team. This was such a wonderful touch and made the stay even more special. The hotel is sufficiently set back from the roads and our stay was extremely quiet, apart from the odd heavy footed guest making their way back to their room. Once this had settled down we had a great nights sleep and were ready for the short trip into Chesterfield to re-acquaint ourselves with this remarkable place. We heartily recommend the Chesterfield North hotel, it's staff and location for a a peaceful stay in the Peak District. Hope to see you all again soon.

Lovely hotel, all you need for a good rest with comfy beds. Clean rooms and nice,helpful and smiley staff. Convenient location for what I needed to sort out and free car park for visitors. Was just perfect for me. Unlimited tea and coffee from reception is great.
