Travelodge Chertsey

"Decent stay at Travelodge Chertsey. Room was basic but clean, and breakfast was okay. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but overall it was a good value for the price. Would stay again if I'm in the area.

We arrived at the travel lodge at 11.30pm and were warmly greeted when we checked in. The kind man also upgraded us to a family room so we have some extra space. After a week of bouncing around hospital beds with our son in the NICU of the hospital down the road, we got our best sleep in quite some time here. The bed was comfy and the air con was great. There is parking on site but it is very limited, it was full when we arrived, across the road if you follow the "long stay parking" signs you'll find the Chertsey Library car park, it was £3 for 10am - 8am parking there and it's only a 3minute walk from the hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July, we were going to Thorpe park & then into London for strongman on the Saturday Firstly the pros The location for Thorpe park is great? It took no more than 5 minutes in the car to get to the park entrance. Also there is a Sainsbury’s (closed for renovation at the moment) & an Aldi just around the corner, also a village full of places to eat & drink. We paid extra for a room with air con which was really powerful it cooled really quickly. The cons The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, full of lumps & bumps so were the pillows, meanwhile the bedding was so scratchy I didn’t sleep at all the first night but was so tired the next 2 nights I actually slept but woke up with a very sore back as did my husband! The bathroom is tiny & smells really musty, the extractor fan was rubbish! The room is very small with a tiny TV, no fridge & no safe. I would not stay here again

"I recently stayed at the Chertsey Travelodge and had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly. The location was convenient for my needs, and I appreciated the easy access to local amenities. Overall, it was a good value for the price. I'd consider staying there again in the future."

Would stay there again. Only issue was no hairdryer and had to pay for parking. Nice quiet area near to cafes and pubs.
