Location of resort is wonderful which is enriched by the decent staff & food. I enjoyed my stay there. This is one of the best resort in Meghalaya.

Location is excellent. Cleanness is good but rooms need maintenance. Wifi is not working properly. In my room no 511, mobile signal is not coming, moreover intercom is also not working. How we get connected with reception, is a big challenge. They should change the name of Hi Tea. Because it's not a hi tea. It's just tea with one snack. They need to know the meaning of hi tea. They offered hi tea on 1st floor, so for them ,its high tea. Food quality is good. There junior staff needs training. They don't wish you when they pass. They close lunch orders before mentioned time in menu.

Staying at Polo Orchid was not only pleasant but a memorable experience. Mr Alok went out of the way to make the experience unforgettable. He defines Indian hospitality mantra “Atithi Devo Bhava”. Food is really excellent and Mr Rahul deserves special kudos for his well crafted and curated menu. Be it Breakfast or Dinner, you just can’t come out without saying “wow”. The location is best in whole of Cherrapunji. If you are in Cherrapunji then don’t think twice for staying anywhere. Polo Orchid is “THE” hotel.

Superb hospitality and a great ambiance. The resort is praised for its ideal location, which allows it to fit in perfectly with Cherrapunji's natural beauty and provide direct views of the Seven Sisters Falls.

Food quality at dinner was not upto the mark. Service level degraded compared to earlier days. Online support during booking was not satisfactory

Absolutely wonderful manager Sri Pawan. Could get instant solution for any issues. My wife dashed against glass wall and he immediately ice pack and assistance before we could say a word.My wife recovered very quickly .Foodwise it was top class. Every minute attention was given to every item. Top it all we could get tips on yoga when we asked him. Room was v good.well done polo,keep the standards. Exceeded my expectation

We had great expectations from the hotel and hence giving a poor rating. It’s otherwise an average hotel. We booked two rooms one facing the Seven sisters waterfall, which has an amazing pool and we had a great time with family there. We had a second room which was to spend the night, but the quality of the room is so poor, that we did not find the value in taking such high costs from the customer. The location is no doubt beautiful, but if they can focus on the service, cleanliness, and lunch and dinner quality then this hotel can be amazing. We had good breakfast but below par lunch and dinner.

It was indeed a pleasant stay. I stayed in waterfall deck suit. I went for my anniversary and I must say it was really celebrated well. This hotel has a very scenic view which can't be beat by other hotels. Plus it has some amazing packages. I took their breakfast by the fall package for my anniversary morning and it was a blast. You can make great memories here. All the arrangements done by the hotel was literally touched my heart. Specially Mr. Pawan and team made sure that we have best anniversary celebration here. There were dedicated photographer, chef and waiter for us. Everything was arranged just perfectly just the way I wanted. I was feeling like a star 😛. So overall very good property, very good staff and very good service. Though the price is a bit high but that is totally worth it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the breakfast by the fall if you coming for a special occasion.

We recently stayed at Polo Cherrapunjee Resort with our two families, which included two small children—a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old. While the resort itself is set in a beautiful location and our stay was comfortable, what happened at checkout turned into an unforgettable experience for both good and not-so-good reasons. As we were about to check out, our car suddenly broke down. To make things more difficult, it was raining heavily, and we had no immediate help or way out. With small babies in our arms, we were stranded for almost 6 hours while waiting for repairs. During this stressful time, we were incredibly lucky to meet a wonderful staff member named Faste (I may be misspelling his name—apologies for that). He truly went above and beyond for us. Despite the weather and distance, he personally took us to a mechanic far away from the resort and stayed with us through the entire ordeal, right up until our car was up and running. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help in such difficult circumstances touched us deeply. People like him truly make all the difference, and we are immensely grateful for his support. However, we also encountered a rather unpleasant incident. There was a security guard, a bit on the heavier side, who usually greets guests upon arrival. Despite seeing us with babies in our arms and standing in the pouring rain, he refused to give us an umbrella simply because we had already checked out. His attitude was cold and unhelpful—as if we were going to steal the resort’s umbrella. This was deeply disappointing and completely inappropriate, especially under such conditions. To summarize: Huge thanks and appreciation to Faste for his humanity and help. Resort management should seriously train staff like the security guard to handle such situations with basic empathy and hospitality. Would love to give 5 stars, but 1 star less for the security's behaviour. We hope to visit again someday, and we truly wish the resort all the best—especially with amazing staff like Faste on board.

Private pool experience was below par; it had some serious cleanliness issues; water was dirty with insects floating all over right from check-in; requested cleaning bit not attended stating that water can’t be wasted as they had supply issues; this was pathetic esp for the price paid; for 1 night I paid a room rent of ₹ 26000; room experience was poor

The amazing environment and born was doing good job and triliancy is also good ,and seen banglades view is very good service team was good served in the breakfast also thanks to rohit teams I love this food quality and the kinda,iba and bala also very good explain to us also i recommend to my friends also to come here and enjoy and singer was aslo too good singing last night

This resort is beautiful with all the greenery hills it located in a very peace full and calm place..it was so relaxable and you can find peace of mind..it was a very good stay me and my wife we really enjoyed our stay and next time we will come back with our family..the dinner and breakfast was very delicious especially the coffees and donuts Bala and triliancy are very courteous and friendly they serve us very well ..it’s truly a magnificent place
