A weekend overnight stay when going to the races. Very welcoming staff, friendly and helpful, good location to the racecourse and the town. Clean comfortable rooms, comfy beds with excellent breakfast. I would be very happy to return in the future.

I stayed here for 3 nights as I was working away and I decided to leave my van at the job and cycling too and from the pub which Dave was more than happy for me to take my bike through the pub. From the minute I got there Dave was so welcoming and really made me feel at home, The room was lovely and my god the bed was comfortable ( best nights sleep I’ve had for a long time). The breakfast and evening meals was amazing, that man can really cook. Very well priced, Will definitely be staying again in the not so distant future and would highly recommend

Stayed here for a night , staff were very friendly and helpful. No hair dryer supplied. No food service in the evening. Room could do with a refresh

We arrived early on the off chance and were given a warm welcome and shown our rooms, which were spacious, with each having a double and a single bed. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub; the bartender was very friendly and there was a good atmosphere. The pub closes at 10 on weekends but there are several others a very short walk away. The beds were all extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and the lovely lady who prepared and served it was very attentive. I managed to leave something behind in the room; when I phoned about it and spoke to the owner, Dave, he found it and phoned me back straight away, and then very kindly posted it back to me the same day. Thanks to you and your team for a lovely stay :-)

I'm staying here for work at the moment, and Katy has looked after me amazingly well. She's very attentive, always has a smile and a chat for you, and couldn't be more welcoming. I thoroughly recommend the Coach and Horses for a stay. The food is great and if Katy is on shift you'll be well looked after.

Stayed here for a night on the way to Cornwall. Fab Superking bed great nights sleep lovely breakfast ( great quality) Dave was a super host. Fab location Amazing value!! Booked for return journey.

Absolutely disgusting rooms and service, terrible attitude from owner DO NOT RECOMMEND Truly wouldn’t wish a stay here on my worst enemy owner also denies any bad reviews on here as an attempt to save his own business but the bad reviews here are accurate

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, I visited with two fellow army veterans, it was staffed by incredibly friendly people, the breakfast was excellent and could be customized the day before, The room i had was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Probably the most comfortable hotel ive stayed in , a real pleasure. The proprietor was also very flexible Good bar bar too with friendly locals.

Went for food the staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you and the food was amazing will be back again soon forgot to take photos but totally full up would recomend as they will adapt food if they can I don't like peas so was offered veg or salad to go with my meal
