It was the best hotel i have stayed in India so far (and i have stayed in few) room is amazing, big, clean, service quick and diligent, breakfast with western and indian options, tv with youtube option and the food from room service very good.

Room was good, staff friendly. However, the property is a little old and the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. There was a lot of hair in the standing shower box.

The Hotel Service it's Not standard

I had an excellent stay at this hotel in January. Mr Ashok was very friendly and helpful at reception. A fantastic guy. The staff at breakfast were also fantastic. I appreciate the service at this hotel and would like to stay there again. Cheers - Uvarajan

Great hotel with helpful staff, who easily organised a car and driver for us. The pool is lovely and is surrounded by a bar and restaurant. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast and lunch buffets were outstanding, with many Indian and European choices.

Good location and good value. Staff were helpful. The rooms were good and clean. Pool was small but good to cool off. Bar and restaurant service the pool area. Reception helped organise a car to Pondicherry. Buffet lunch good value with wide selection.

Pharos Hotel located in the heart of Chennai is a cosy and comfortable hotel with well appointed and comfortable rooms . The hotel has a huge lunch buffet with the best of Non Veg and Veg dishes. Their buffet spread is never ending and the restaurant Manager Mr. Pattabi and his efficient team are trending to each and every need of the guests. The buffet of Pharos is so popular that the restaurant is so busy. Their Andhra food restaurant Vivaha Bhojanambu is another feather in their cap. The flavourful food that is served is beyond compare. A visit to Pharos and it's fabulously tasty restaurants is a must if you are in Chennai or visit Chennai .

Good rooms, very spacious and comfortable, good service. No alcohol served in hotel rooms, so it is suitable for stay . They have regular customers from the Middle East. They do not provide metal cutlery in rooms.Only available when dining in in-house restaurants. Please make arrangements.

I had an excellent stay at the hotel. Check in and checkout was smooth. The rooms were well furnished and clean. The bed linen was smooth and had a good sleep. Rest of the stuff was standard. The breakfast buffet was a good spread and good flavours. They have a pool side bar on the second floor which also looked good. A South Indian restaurant on the first floor had lovely music and a good vibe to it. The staff was courteous. There is a Hard Rock café next door. The room rates were reasonable. I would stay again this hotel again any day.

Worst of the Managerial Staff Ever Met. I had to meet DINAKARAN. He was so adamant and non understating the he didn't Hesitate in Guest Checking out for his adamancy. He Siad: "Staying or not is own wish, We are not bothered about it" I was one among the guest visiting as it was a Business Visit. The Room is booked under corporate Linkage, Despite that that person was humiliting that he said you all have to leave the room in 5 mins. Then in the Midnight we checked out from there and checked in at Hotel Presidency. Where the Junior Staff also had more coutosey then this ***. I doubt his education in Hotel Management. And While Checked out when I met him, his attitude worth a NOTE. DINAKAR wasn't bothered at all.

Amazing size and very clean room, nice bathroom with perfect shower. Fine A/C, good fridge and fantastic pool with a nice temperature a little below air-temperature which was nice to cool off in the warm and sunny weather. Beds a little too soft for our taste but slept ok anyway. Great breakfast with lots to choose from. Helpfull staff and really good food and service, also when using in-room dining. We truely recommend staying at Pharos!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everthing perfect. The reception staff are friendly, efficient and are always smiling. the rooms are large, very modern and perfectly clean, the roomboy David does an amzing job every day. The breakfast is huge and has a great choice and everything is fresh and well presented. The swimming pool area with its bar and resturant have a lovely atmoshere. and its great that you can swim up to midnight. Dip one of the waiters is friendly and very attentive. I will be back next year and will never ever stay anywhere else in Chennai
