Manoir de Beauregard - Cunault

On arrival Jez & Sue were very welcoming. Room stayed in outstanding, Breakfast each morning to a very high standard. Recomend highly for a very enjoyable pleasant stay. Surrounding areas all beautiful. Garden and views stunning, A very unique pleasant stay.

This chambre d'hote is fantastic! Beauregard is a large manor house with a garden and ample parking, just above the Loire and with expansive views out over the river. It's a short distance from Gennes and Saumur - for my group this was perfect as we wanted to see historic and cultural sites in this World Heritage Area. This is a perfect place to relax and use as a base to explore this historic region, either by car or by bike. The acommodation was very comfortable, with high-quality bed linen, well maintained bathrooms and a large lounge. Outdoor space is fantastic too, with the option to enjoy breakfast out in the courtyard or on the terrace with views of the Loire. There's a lovely pool and everything you'd need to enjoy it, with sun loungers and a well-equipped pool house. Jez and Sue were fantastic hosts, they gave us so much great local knowledge and looked after us very well. They made sure we had delicious breakfasts, told us all about local attractions and restaurants, and generally made everyone feel really welcome in their home. Thank you!
