"I’m proud to be the first to review this great hotel. First the location. I don’t think you can get any closer to the entrance… it’s literally the 3rd hotel from the entrance. It took me 7 minutes to walk to the entrance at a leisurely pace. Next the excellent staff. Super service answered all my questions prior to my arrival regarding tickets to Fanjing. I was also late to check out and come down from the mountain because of the rain… they were very understanding. The room was also spotless. Super modern… with this really cool shower system that was unique but intuitive. This is a new hotel and as of July 2025, the hotel has only been open for 6 months. The room was pretty much exactly as it looked like in the photos. The only thing western travelers may find odd is that the first floor is an authentic Chinese restaurant which you have to walk though. For me it was a festive entrance every time! Overall a great bargain."

"It was such a surprise find at Fanjingshan. The rooms are big with modern facilities including toilet seat sensor. The inn also has a lift for those with big luggages and don’t want to climb the stairs with them, a feature that is not in all the inns around. We have such a comfortable stay, even if it was just for a night. We took a didi to the inn in the evening and in the morning, the owner drove us to the gate of Fanjingshan to purchase the tickets. He also offered to pick us up when we are done for the day at fjs. He also helped us to engage a driver who drove us to fenghuang ancient town for a fair price based on our cab fare from Tongren to fjs. I will definitely recommend this inn which is also new, opened in March 2023. 房间干净偏大，负有摩登设施。 民宿里也有电梯，无需扛大行李上楼。 我们住得舒适也吃得好。 推荐！"

"First of all, I would like to compliment the lady boss, Ms. Chen and Madam Liu for their thoughtfulness, hospitality and kindness during our 2 nights stay in the homestay. We were allocated 2 room units at level 5 for a 2 x double bed size and 1 x queen bed size for my family. The homestay had installed a lift to provide the guests easy access to their allocated room unit without carrying heavy luggage bags up to the upper level which I discovered other homestay units don't provide such facilities. The staff are most helpful and always there to provide assistance in particular when I need to clean my dirty laundry, the owner offered their assistance to help with laundry service and dry out hanging while we can go for our mountain outing at ease. Also, they took an initiative to prepare the necessary personal items like a walking stick and rain coat before you set off to the mountain trekking to save us from unnecessary spending of such expenses. Such a kind gesture is appreciated as the items may be a one time usage. Overall, our stay was extremely wonderful and satisfying which I personally recommend huanlin guesthouse and I will definitely reserve the same guesthouse should I will made a visit to Fanjinshan again."

"to be honest, This hotel is definitely good value for money. Compared to hotels near shops, I prefer accommodations that are some distance away from Fanjing Mountain. One of the reasons is that if you want to walk around shops or go shopping at night, you will be disturbed and forcefully sold to by many people. The hotel provides many services including transportation to the entrance of Fanjing Mountain and breakfast. This is a very thoughtful service and I am very satisfied with it. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and many locals dine there. Choosing 3D2N is definitely the first choice. Going up and down the mountain consumes a lot of energy. After we came down the mountain, we went straight to the hotel and slept for 14 hours. The only downside to being near Fanjing Mountain is that it is very far to other attractions. Make sure you can catch a car or bus back to the hotel before nightfall."

"The hotel is very close to the entrance of Fanjishan park ,just 10 minutes walking .The room was very comfortable, with the characteristics of a five star hotel, the breakfast was very good, particularly the noudols soup with mushrooms and peanuts and the bao buns both sweet and savory. All the staff were exceptional showing kindness and caring took care of us: the cook who cooked the soup at the moment, the maid who washed our clothes for free and above all the hotel manager Ao Bo who overcame every language barrier and took care of anything we needed in the room and in general in the village during our stay, and finally arranged a taxi for us to Tongren station. Thank you all!"

"I had an incredible stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the kind and handsome staff greeted us warmly, helped with our luggage, and even upgraded us to a beautiful, spacious room with stunning views. He also surprised us with some snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the egg dish😊, I’d love to know the recipe if the owner sees this review!😂 On the second day, when we were preparing to climb Mount Fanjing Shan, the staff went above and beyond by providing us with gloves and a raincoat, as well as offering us a lift. Their generosity and attention to detail truly made our trip so much more comfortable. We had such a great time and are so grateful for the hospitality. I highly recommend staying here. P.S.
