"The Haymaker Inn has a lot of character and a welcoming atmosphere. Our glasses of beer and cider were excellent - The Landlord knew his craft and his advice was very helpful in making the right choices. The food was tasty and the portions were very generous. Great value! "

"This is our first stay at this Guest House and certainly won't be our last. As soon as you open the door you instantly feel at ease. James and Katherine are lovely nothing is too much trouble for them. James recommended some nice places to eat and visit whilst we were here. The breakfast is very good and they also do Vegan options. You simply fill in a form the night before and leave it downstairs and they cook your food to perfection. The breakfast area is lovely and there is a little back room where you can relax and read a book. There's a lovely little garden to take advantage of when the weather is nice. The room is spotless and beautiful. Lots of little extras like bathrobs, slippers, sewing kit, hairdryer, toiletries to name a few. Room comes with a good size TV with free view. The en-suite rooms have a bath and shower which is excellent. The bed is very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Also looked at the family room and that looks a good size too. Parking is limited outside the guest house but there's plenty of free parking available only a few minutes walk away. We will be back next year. "

"Absolutely perfect , modern rooms and bathroom, really clean, super efficient checking in and out didn’t have any problems or complaints. We have family in Somerset and the surrounding areas so this is now our go to place to stay when visiting, we have and will recommend to any family and friends. Going off our stay if there are any bad reviews they will be from people who are never happy."
