Lagon Life Spirit Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

Wonderful hotel, 5 stars all the way. The staff were incredibly friendly, (especially Kris at the front desk). The view from the room was fantastic to say the least. Breakfast served to the room was also top notch. We had read some of the 1 star reviews beforehand and I don't believe they were at the same hotel as none of that was true. It is a bit out of the city center, but was a quick drive to Chania old town, and we liked the quiet and relaxed vibe. Would high recommend

My wife and I and her two beautiful daughters spent a week in this absolutely stunning hotel. We can´t fault a single thing about the place, everything was 110% perfect from the first day to the last. The personnel was super friendly and tended to all our needs. The ladies in the reception were wonderful helping us to get our daily taxi to the old town and and one one occasion to and from Stavros beach. The food and the room service worked perfectly too and the grey haired lady cleaning lady was fantastic ＜3 Room 106 had a slightly larger pool and a patio which almost looked like a small secluded front yard with trees and flowers and a lovely view towards the town centre. The shower was fantastic with good water pressure. The TV was a bit small but hello, who comes to Chania to watch television! We will definitively be back here if we ever visit Chania again! This is a very special hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the restaurant is incredible. Our room was immaculate and fantastic. The views from the hotel are perfect and the vibe of the decor is really fun. It does take a 10-15 dollar cab ride to get to the historic city center. Recommend 100 percent.

What a special little place! If you read no further, all you need to know is we are super particular and this has the highest rating of all the hotels we stayed at. Our arriving flight was delayed for just over two hours, meaning that an already late arrival became a midnight check in. We messaged the hotel just before we took off to let them know and to ask if there would be someone available to receive us. We received a message back from the hotel within 2 minutes, telling us there would absolutely be someone at reception and it was no issues, so no need to rush or stress. On (late) arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful crisp, clean and very new hotel. First impressions were very good. On arrival at the reception, the gentlemen was expecting us, knew our name and had everything ready. Knowing we had a little arduous journey, had offered to take us straight to our room, or would happily make us a drink. We decided to have a drink. As we found with all the staff, they pitched the conversation perfectly. Not intrusive, but interested and always incredibly happy and smiling. We arrived in our room. We booked the Ambassador room with sea view. It was special in every way. New, crisp, well decorated, smelling amazing. A wonderful view over Chania. We realised we had also been gifted a lovely bottle of fizz, so sat and enjoyed the wonderful view. Breakfast is served in the room. Just call in the morning when ready and it is brought to you. It, like everything about this hotel was very very good. Fresh, great selection and lots of it! We treated ourselves to two spa treatments. These were excellent, professional and very relaxing. We found the price to be very reasonable, especially considering the professionalism and quality. The main event at this hotel is the staff. They are very lovely people. We have never stayed at a hotel where we had been made to feel so welcome and not just a guest. Every interaction, from reception to maids, from bar to room service staff was great. The pleasant nature is contagious and it made us feel great. The location is perfect, out of the way (enough to be quiet), but close enough (5 minutes/€10 taxi) to the town. Often there are places we stay and we find something that wasn’t quite right. That simply was not the case here. Couldn’t recommend strongly enough. A must stay.

I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone. From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we were in paradise. Check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM, but they were kind enough to let us in at 12:30. They even offered us coffee during our short wait in the lobby. In the room, we found a complimentary bottle of bubbles, which was a lovely touch to start our stay. The room was sparkling clean, and the swimming pool on the terrace was perfectly warm with a lovely view. The common swimming pool and jacuzzi were available until 10 PM, and it was unbelievably not busy; we always had it to ourselves. Every member of the staff was very helpful, professional, and had a big smile. The entire space was very quiet at all time, even if it was fully booked we never heard anything a part water sound from the pools, that particularly made us sleep so well. The restaurant was also excellent, and the tagliatelle with mushrooms was the best dish! It was the perfect way to finish our two-week holiday in Crete. You must stay here before leaving!
