Le Manoir de l'antiquité

Nice little hotel. We received a warm welcome at this little spot for an overnight stay. We were recommended to go to a local restaurant which was great. Our room was on the ground floor and was comfortable enough. However the bathroom really smelt musty and sewerage to the extent that the door had to be closed. The pillows were very poor. Breakfast was great by the pool and Amelie was lovely and friendly.

We had just left our campsite after our first 3 week holiday ever and were hitting the road for Roscoff.... 20 minutes into our journey the car broke down just outside Challans and we waited for 5 hours on the side of the road for AA ( review to follow for them! ). It was Friday 17:00 and we had no accommodation and no idea what we were going to do. We decided to take the first hotel that had availability to get somewhere to sleep and then we could arrange something better the next day. We phoned the hotel and Amélie was so helpful, organised the two rooms for us, a taxi to get us there and also recommended a beautiful restaurant for dinner that night. The rooms were lovely the bathrooms were perfect and the small table and chairs outside the rooms allowed us to relax and unwind in the lovely courtyard. Breakfast the next morning was tasty and plentiful from fresh local cheeses, ham and breads to eggs and bacon to order, plenty of coffee and juices.... perfect!. We were so happy to be able to stay there for the next four nights as we waited for the car to be fixed. Accidentally extending our holiday in this lovely hotel was certainly not the worst thing to ever happen us! Amélie & François were friendly, helpful and very thoughtful. Can't recommend the hotel enough.

Aucun reproche à faire, chambre confortable et bien décoré, petit déjeuner complet et exquis et le plus : Des propriétaires très sympathiques forcément nous reviendrons et nous ne pouvons que conseiller cet endroit calme, fleuri avec piscine !

Nous venons de passé une nuit dans ce superbe hôtel. La chambre spacieuse avec le petit plus la terrasse face à la piscine un endroit calme et paisible tout y est pour s y sentir bien et apaisé. L accueil rien à dire la gérante toujours avec le sourire . Nous reviendrons c est certain.

Accueil très chaleureux et attentionné. Chambres propres et confortables. On est dans un petit cocon en plein cœur de la ville de Challans. En plus les petits déjeuner sont variés avec des œufs préparés à la demande selon nos goûts, et des gâteaux faits maison. J’ai adoré mon séjour, j’y retournerai avec plaisir. Merci beaucoup

300€ perdu car on nous a refusé car nous avions un chat, sachant qu'il acceptait les chiens. Or le chien est un animal, dans ce cas là elle doit refuser tous les animaux. Ce n'est pas normal, la gérante nous a même fait la réflexion "pourquoi ont enmenait notre chat quand on voyageait. Aucun geste commercial, sachant qu'elle a en poché les 300€ quand même. Et à reloué la chambre donc double benefice. J'appelle ça de l'arnaque. Je ne recommande certainement pas cet hôtel.
